He's the little guy who follows Sonic around in Sonic Unleashed. He's such a cutie!
I told my dad that he looked like a... um, half-rabbit-half-mouse-half-pixie thing that loves to eat, especially chocolate. He looked at me like I was crazy.
I completed the game, though I had one heck of a time defeating Dark Gaia. I kept running out of blasted rings! My brother got a kick out of watching me get killed!
You what was the stupid thing? I never thought of going to unlock the doors in the gaia temples before finishing the game. So there I am, facing the big bad guy, with only a max of 2 lives! Yeah, when I found out afterwards, you wouldn't believe how much my brothers laughed their heads off!
Anyway, there's little chip. I know his ears look a little longer then they are in the game, but who cares. He's still cute!

Despite the criticisms of him, I really liked this character, he wasn't another hedgehog, he didn't have a dark past (well maybe kinda dark), and he was actually funny. Plus the last scenes with him really touched me in a way.
I loved the game, although I think SEGA needs to stop with this "evil monster trying to destroy the world" thing, it's going to be pretty hard to top the Dark Gia design.

Its a brilliant game too, lovem love, love the day stages. They are just merge the whole classic stage style and updated 3D style and the feeling you get of the speed through the stage too.
I love the lil bit and he offers the bird gate guardian chocolate.

It took me awhile to figure out about those doors in the gaia temples as well.

Dark Gaia is a challenge to beat, but man you feel so good when you do beat him.

I know! My brother watched me play against him before going to work and when super sonic turned back into Sonic and fell while screaming, my bro threw his head back and said "Ha ha!" Like that kid on the Simpsons. Then he walked off while giggling.

Doors to the temples?
Anyway, long ears or no, Chip still looks cute. And I was so glad they didn't give him an annoying voice like they were prone to do with other small characters. It was funny watching his antics at the end of the levels, especially for the S and E ranks.

Normally, there's three or four extra doors on either sides of the temple as you go up to the doors that introduce the levels. You need a certain amount of moon medals and sun medals to open the doors.

I never got an E rank. The lowest I've gotten was maybe three or four Cs. Does he do the same when he gets an E as he would when he gets a C?

I've only gotten E in Rooftop Run as Werehog (died just before end of level and there wasn't enough stuff to build up my score again. Sonic slaps his head and falls down exhausted on his back and Chip hovers down to examining him and looking shocked back at the camera.
