Too Retro For You.My final piece for my Graphic Design course, blatantly inspired by the JSR boxart but the first year focuses on the ability to imitate other people's art styles so it's A-OK.
This took me like 17 hours in total and is probably the best piece of work I've created yet. Each little background piece was created separately, all of them from scratch (bar the Mario sprite which is just a sprite) though obviously inspired by retro things from the 80's/90's. The Ghostbusters logo is traced, but only because I felt it was too iconic to draw out my own version, it just wouldn't be the same.
Also, what the fucking shit art by me that isn't of a certain blue hedgehog!? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON

It's a good course but SO TIME CONSUMING, every week we usually get asked to create some huge ass picture like this one and I always end up spending like 10+ hours on mine xD

I want to take Graphic Design, I'm starting Colledge this fall. I think the GD course it at one of the other campuses though which realy sucks but I'm definently taking the art class
