I keep saying no more comics and then betraying my own word!
;This is based off a sketch that gave me last week while we were talking in IM. I'd made her listen to Steeleye Span's rendition of the "Tam Lin Reel" while she was in NJ and she asked me to send her my file of it, so I did, but then I put it on for my own listening pleasure and...well, this song is the best Zimfiddle song I've encountered to date, and there was that whole police hat-wearing business earlier, so..."No no no Zim don't play it wearing the hat! ...mwaaaah..." And Bast drew me sketch of Zimmish playing the fiddle in his hat and gnawing on a candy cane (which fuels his evil >]), and...it SPAWNED A COMIC IN MY HEAD. So...yeah, thanks for the inspiration, Bast. u.u;;
I dunno why I picked my otherself RK to be the one representing the general disgust among my headchildren for my fangirly--and somewhat salacious--behavior with my husband of late...probably because she's my twin and therefore it makes a better composition for the part of us standing and staring. =B It's funny how her different, longer hairstyle really makes her face look different than mine even though we have all the same features. It's still obvious she's me, though. RK I think is jealous and wishes *her* husband would try to seduce *her* sometime. 9.9 Heyyyy, notice how she has a wedding ring now? ^-^ I enjoy details.
...except when they're the details of Sang av Γre that make it an absolute b*&$% to draw and color. You couldn't have just a normal everyday violin, could you, Zim? No no no, it had to be a custom *hardingfele* with *carvings* all up and down it. e.e; At least I only bothered to get the letter carvings around the top correct on the biggest rendition.
In other news, I really really really like the kneeling down Zim a LOT. Hesosezzah. And so is "Tam Lin." o.@ At least, the Steeleye Span version...I've heard at least one other version given to me by Lynne but it was faster and not as wicked EVIL sounding so it wasn't quite as cool. 9.9 The Span version is the definitive "this is what true Zimfiddle sounds like" song. ...even though it's not hardanger fiddle and hardanger fiddle is cooler because it has harmony with itself and *drones.* @.@ But you have to take what you can get, I guess.
...what I get is Zim. ^.~ Three times a week, Bast, three times a week.

When my Zim and I were married he did stuff like that too. XD;; He'd play the organ or piano or IRKEN ORGAN (which is MUCH more complex, hard to play, but equally beautiful) to get me to fall over like, "@.@". He still tries just to see if he can make me succumb. XD But it does not work anymore, no. u.u; Okay so it does. But...still. u.u; My Zim be a musician too. ^-^ I love musically-inclined voices. Which is...practically all o' mine. O.o;;
The handwritings in this are spiffy. ^.^ And I like RK's outfit. o.o It's...maroon. =O

Zims make GOOD musicians once someone points out to them that music is something good to do and something that can possibly be used to control minds... Mine can play nearly any instrument you give him, if you allow him between a couple of hours (if it's like something he's played before) or a couple of days (if it's completely new) to figure it out. 9_9; IRKEN BRAINS MAKE THINGS SO UNFAIR. The Zimmish prefers bowed strings and keyboards to anything else, though. Mostly because they don't involve spit. XD;

Zim was just playing the violin on an open grass field then Red came with an EVIL mad looking sheep beside him , Red *evil grin* let the sheep turn its head towards Zim & commands it to RAM him down , Zim was *gasp* O_O;

XD! Actually, that sounds like something my old friend Lynne might've drawn! See we had a violin-playing Zim in our RPs, as well as a Red with a demonic pet sheep...and that sounds about like what Red wanted to do with the sheep.
I dunno if Lynne-chan actually did draw that, but if she didn't, and someone else had such a combination on their mind without knowing us...that's CREEPY coincidental, man, totally.

XD;; Yeah, I don't get too many 'disgusting things' happening in my head...mostly because the vast majority (ie everyone but Zim) of my headvoices that *have* 'significant others' have them in *other* people's heads. So they only get to be together when I RP, and therefore...no ickyness in me noggin. u.u

waaaaay back when i only had 4 headvoices, only one of them knew how to visit other heads. and he had to use a special machine to do it. now with my headvoice tally at somewhere around 30 or 40, many of them know how to leave. that means that most of the time, many of them arent here.

no. by the way, i thought i'd warn you that several of my voices have been bugging me about letting them leave to try and find yours. atleast the ones that're doing that are friendly. except one. kali wants to go over there just to mess with the priest (she has black angel wings).
ohh yeah, i noticed that when you write out someone talking in your pictures, the text is different colors. do your voices use different colors of text to talk too?

As to your question regarding text colors, you now know the answer is yes! ^.~ They have their own different colors, but I also usually have to type out their names like dialogue because there are only so many colors that AIM offers and also because people get confused if I don't. 9_9; Color's usually based on eyes for the Irkens and hair or clothes for the humans. AND, of course, for offline media like letters and notebooks and, as ye see, art, they've all got their own handwritings too. And they thus all hafta have their own pens in their colors, and fight over who gets which ones, and my friends' parents think I'm schizophrenic as a result. =B

yeah, they're getting to be so many voices that im running out of combinations of colors and bolds and italics and underlines. i should probably just start typing everyone's names before they talk. speaking of that, i was debating whether i should write my parody of 'A Christmas Carol' in either first person style or the style your fics are written in. what do you think?

Well, that depends on if you'd rather the story be driven mostly by character and dialogue, or mostly by action and description. Script form's much better for the former, since the characters' personalities and speech don't get mired down as much by the conventions of having to write things like "Then so-and-so said, 'blahblahblah.'" With script form, the whole of the piece's humor and drama rest on what the characters say, and you need only set up basic settings with description enough for people to get the basic jist before setting the 'voices free to talk. Meanwhile, normal prose form is much better for writing out action and for creating colorful descriptions of places and things. When you want to write a fight scene, for example, script form is really NOT good at all, since mostly all anyone says during a fight is "Aargh!" and it's cluttering to put detailed descriptions of characters' actions in the format normally used for dialogue.
Personally, I prefer script form because I'm mostly a parodist and general humor writer, and humor doesn't need as much in the way of moving, eloquent description. I find it much easier to express what's going on for my characters through simply putting down their words and thoughts. Basically, I think of script form as much quicker and snappier for getting a point across. ^.^ Since you're doing a parody too, that's what I'd recommend. However, try it out and see if it's working for you, and if it's not then try normal prose!

thankyou for the advice! its true my parody would rely on dialogue more then action. except when the first ghost of christmas future screws up and shows loki (who, if you dont know, was the one talking in black italics and is playing scrooges part) a battle of the apocalypse instead of something relevant to what he's trying to do and a random soldier cuts his pet duck's head off. thats right. future 1 is too stupid to do his job properly and has a pet duck. anyways, that scene is short anyways and the only action oriented part would go something like...
Random Warrior: *cuts quackles' head off while running by*
ahh well. i'll try it in your style and if that doesnt seem right i'll try it the other way to see if i like that one better. anyways, thanks again for the help!
