Description
Batman & RobinI put Robin in something close to his traditional costume.
I usually try to draw Batman in a way where it looks as if he wears armor under his costume, so I figure Robin would wear his tunic over a kevlar & fabric armor and added a "Robin Hood" hooded cloak that I've seen a few artist use.

You got ESP or something, who woulda thought that you'd draw the Damian costume in 2007. I think you need some duckets for this one.

I had no idea people would be coloring my "sketchy" stuff, or else I would have done a cleaner inking job.
Most of the stuff under the sketchy title were warm-up's for other projects.

Word. I love Batman, and it's rare that I see a piece that incorporates Robin and I actually like it.

You've got a really distinctive hatching style, Charles. I'm not sure what it is - - maybe it's your pen (or pencil)?

Yeah, I like how you did that with his costume. It looks a bit more protective and substantial than the regular superhero tights, without being overly bulky.
His hair looks good, and his tough expression is good, too, though he still looks appropriately youthful.

Awesome job with the cross hatching in this piece. I also like that Robin is in the foreground

Nice hatching, I also dig the fine detail you put into the pouches on Robin's utility belt.
It's always nice when you get a good sense of dept in the little things.

I just like the fact that there's so much detail on him costume that you don't see in the regular books, especially on the arms. Nice stuff.

First of all, I really like the Robin armor upgrades, and secondly, this is a great homage to Chuck Dixon's "Robin: Year One" cover
