ookay.... does this belong in this section? i still don't understand the difference between drawings vs. paintings & airbrushings
ANYWAYS, on a cheerful-er note, i am really proud of this picture. i spent relatively little time on a relatively huge picture and it turned out good to me.. *siigh* heh, at the risk of sounding conceited, i love this piccy *dreamy eyes*

oh..and i hope nobody's offended or anything by the broken cross... i mean, i don't mean it to be offensive in anyway, and if it does, i'm sorry sorry =__= last school year i drew a picture (which has changed into my angel of death picture) about the book Night, about the part where the little boy and 2 other ppl were hung, and it was questioning where God was now, and someone in the book said He was there hanging on the gallows. i didn't post it cuz i was afraid of offending anyone. but since this has no direct allusion, i posted it. here's the story behind this pic:

The girl's name is Kida. She's a demon who was raised by angels. All her life she thought she was an angel but one day she learned she was nothing but a demon. When she heard that, it was like everything she knew crashed down around her...

brief, i know. but that's the gist. but it explains her wings. black at the root white at the tip. When i drew the background.. i also thought of war and stuff....probably cuz i just stopped playing ff9 at the moment, and i guess i was influenced by their scenery. so i drew the results of war. war is never right. throughout history there's been wars in the name of god. i think that's bogus. war's a war, wars kill and that's that. and all it leaves the ppl are shattered lives and shattered dreams...
