Story: Despite the lack of moon and the growing night, Illidan couldn’t help but to feel reminded of the city. Stars twinkled in an almost artificial fashion, and the milky way seemed to almost look like streetlights when he squinted slightly. Even Kes’s guiding staff light seemed to remind him of the mechanical and man-made rather than the mystic and magic it originated from. There was something that comforted him about it they travelled further and further away from all that was human. He glimpsed briefly at Ceren before looking back forward, wondering if she felt as tired as him.

“It feels magical out here…” Ceren turned, whispering to Illidan as if she read his mind and managed to say the exact opposite of his thoughts. “Here nature is, in her finest…” She tried to hide her weariness, however the exhaustion was difficult to cover in a tired voice. Ceren worried they would notice – both Illidan and Mauja’s stamina seemed intimidating, and the lilac felt terrified that she couldn’t keep up, so it came as a surprise when Illidan seemed to let out a sudden sigh of relief at her exhausted voice.

“I think it may be time for us all to retire,” Kes announced, surprised as both Ceren and Illidan stopped nearly instantly and collapsed almost to a instant laying position. Only Mauja seemed to stand, confused by the whole lot of them.

“Really now?” Majha said with a near laugh. “But the night is young! Let us keep going I say…” (252 words)
