Hermione hugged her friends and said her goodbyes. She turned toward her Ex Professor. She seemed to be contemplating something, but after a second she shrugged."What the hell." She muttered as she walked up to the man she had been working with for almost a year and a half, grabbed one of his hands with hers, and with the other, a handful of his voluminous robe, pulled him down to her, crashing his lips to hers, and kissed him soundly.
He was tense, and his eyes wide. Hermione softened the kiss as he relaxed, and as he started to respond to her, she pulled away, looked up into his shocked onyx eyes with a smile on her face.
"You don't have to give me an answer now." She said with a smile. "I just wanted you to know I love you before I leave. I would like an answer the next time I visit though...think about it?"
She flashed him another blinding smile, and oblivious to her friends looks of disbelief, and her father's outraged expression, calmly stepped into the TARDIS.
