Personally I don't mind time travel but it should be less complicated. I'd have had it that Barry and Eobard were the same age. Barry took down Eobard's father, Eobard gained powers than tried to kill Barry as a kid in order to preserve his "perfect life". When Barry saved his younger self Eobard adapted and killed Nora, creating a stable time loop
