Drew these forever ago.
Just now uploading. I thought managing entries would be a lot easier over Spring Break, so that's why I waited. c: Sorryyyy
And yes, they're draw (and develop) to adopt. The friend I wanted to raise money for refused to give me her Paypal, so lucky-butt you. Anyways, here goes.
Please read all below information before applying for a Nympka.
About Nympkas
• They do not live on Earth. They live in the Xyran world (parallel universe) along with Xyri [link] and Fanears [link] . Please do not draw them with Earth animals/humans or develop a backstory including them.
• This variety lives in semi-tropical forests.
• Hands of all four front feet are fully dexterous and thickly padded with hard callused skin.
• They live on both the forest floor and in the trees, though their food is mostly found above ground (gifted climbers).
• Diet consists of soft, easily digested leaves (keep in mind most Xyran trees are red-leafed) and occasional small insectoids.
• Their teeth look like this: [link]
• They are wild animals and do not have human personalities/intelligence. They're very cat and lemur-like in behavior.
• They are about a foot and a half at the shoulder.
• Tails are partially dexterous and can do some gripping, but they are mostly used for balance.
• Nympkas live in small packs of about 6-10 members. It is lead by a dominant male.
• In the wild they live about 6-8 years at maximum.
You may:
• Make minor design changes.
• Add/remove scars.
You may not:
• Sell the design if won. Please tell me if you don't want the character anymore.
• Change the species. The point of making the adoptables a unique and original was to allow people to posses a member of the species, not the colors.
• Take credit for the design. I'm not asking you to put my name in the description every time you draw the character, just try to refer people to me if they compliment you on the design.
• Take credit for the species. I worked hard to make these cool and original for you guys. Give me credit for my efforts. :u
• Make your own Nympka. I want to make these guys an open species, I just need to develop them a bit more and get some references and guidelines set before I let you loose onto them.
How to Apply:
• Draw a fullbody, prefereably colored picture of your Nympka of choice (You can apply for both, but it's only possible to win one). This can be a normal picture or a reference sheet.
• Post it to deviantART. This is very important. It's extremely hard to keep track of entries with off-site links.
• Give it a name, gender, and personality (minimally) in the description or on the picture. Background story is optional.
• Submit it to me via comment by March 29, 11:59 pm (Central Time Zone). Winners will be announce in a journal.

I plan to make them an open species. c: I just need to set guidelines and rules before I let people go off and make them hot pink with wings.

If you apply for both, you can draw them in the same image or separately. And yes, you'd link me. Just make sure you provide all the required information.
No major design changes. If you want to remove a scar, change the eye color (you could only do it for the brown one), etc. that's perfectly fine, but you can't just go and design a whole new Nympka. The point of making pre-made designs is because I know the specifics of the species and what they can and cannot look like.

Hnngh. Question~! If I were to win, would I be able to use it in AU based roleplay? Not as the character's main setting, of course, since it's meant for a specific world of your design, but for roleplay purposes, so I could have it interact with friends. And would I be able to make a human version for roleplay purposes also?

Hmm. I suppose you could. So long as the human version is always off-plant, I don't see how it could do any harm. xD
What's an AU based rp? Sorry. I'm not a roleplayer, so I don't know my terminology.

Alternate Universe. In other words, use them in other settings, even though your world would be the main. Kind of like when you read a fanfiction about characters from an anime series, such as naruto for example, and place them somewhere else, like maybe a modern school setting. Just to give an idea.
I'd keep their true world yours, and the roleplays taking place elsewhere wouldn't effect the actual character and the actual world they'd be from. Just would give me more roleplay options.

OH. Are there gender rules? I know, odd question. But I play everything from male, female, to different forms of hermaphrodites. I usually lean towards male "type" hermaphrodites. Wanna know if you even allow hermaphrodites before I label the character such. If you don't I'll label it male on the app.

I already see that you sent me your entry, but yes, hermaphrodites are fine. Haha Hermaphrodite characters are actually really interesting to me. All the gender identification would have to be more in human form though. I'm not sure how many animals speculate what gender they feel they are. xD'

LMAO. I mean physically a hermaphrodite. It has to do with anatomy. If you play around with possibilities, there are other possible genders. If you have a human character with the chest of a woman but the lower regions of a male, people in the real world identify them as a shemale. Then there are the internet and their gender versions and terms. Futas, women who are fully women PLUS the male part. So.. They have lady bits and man bits down there. And then males with female bits down there instead. A more vulgar name for them. Cuntboys. Um~ And then males who are fully male save a few internal organs that allow them to reproduce as females do. They're what I call male-type hermaphrodites. Cause they have no slang term available. And minus well be male. OTL Sorry for all the spam love! Anyways. xD I think transvestite or transsexual or something is what you thought of. Which is more... the mental state of being the opposite gender than it is a physical state. Sorry if you completely understood and I just misread that. xD;
