///OH HEY pretty many people are eager to know how to pronounce his name. It's pronounced "E-mom-u".

Haha, yeah. So another pokemon trainer to another pokemon competition? That's right!
Check out and join the fun!

Dang, it took me AGES to figure out a design I liked. I tried fifty different types of trainers and themes until I finally created Imamu. Took me long enough!
He was inspired by Iris and Aloe, whom I am deeply in love with at the moment. Dang, doesn't pokemon Black and White just look so much more better by the minute? God, I can't wait to get the games and fight Aloe all the time like a crazy obsessed person! I love herrrrrrrrr, gimme gimme gimme!!
...
*cough*
Oh right, the trainer. Here ya go.

About Imamu
Imamu decided to come to Helios Conference for one reason: They have free camping area!
Plus they have a free-to-join competition going on too with a prize, he could use the money.
Imamu like to look shiny at all times, even tho he wouldn't actually afford fanciness. He lives in an old camper with his daughter, who has painted it in various colours. As Imamu can't afford to buy camping space to his camper, he illegally parks it in various places or drives to the closest free camping area.
Imamu is a happy person who likes to be happy and keep everyone else happy too. In other words: he doesn't complain and is easy to push around. He wants to see the bright side in everything and can be a bit more than naive at times. Also, Imamu doesn't like to think very much, it gives him a headache. He just goes with the flow. He is dat simple minded person like that. Doesn't seem to bother him too much tho, except when it gets him in trouble.
Imamu is a musical person. He sings plays many instruments very well and he seems to be constantly humming random rhymes no matter where he is. Especially Jazz is close to his heart. He also has constantly moving feet, either tapping for a rhyme of sharing random steps on random places. He can also be found sitting on a street with an instrument, singing and playing for people in exchange for some spare coins.

The daughter, Asha
Imamu came to Helios Conference with his mischievous eleven-years-old daughter. Imamu isn't exactly a fatherly person but he tries his best with her. Asha was a result of a short relationship long time ago. The mother didn't want to keep the baby so she abandoned Asha to Imamus doorsteps and vanished. Imamu's carefree dating life ended that morning, as he now realized the consequences of such a carefree lifestyle. Asha however is now a big girl now, with a powerful and experimental nature. Imamu is constantly lost and confused with his dramatic daughter, who is already showing great signs of independency. But she is a child after all, and Imamu tends to pamper her a dat too much, which Asha hates of course. Their relationship is complex as Asha is definitely the one wearing the pants in the family, but Imamu can be very hard-headed with his ideals. Plus, as Imamu is still the the one with the muscles in the family, sometimes it is best to just grab the nosy girl and throw her in the camper to cool down a bit.

The PokΓ©mon

Mabibo, Swalot
Mabibo, meaning cashew apples in Swahili, was Imamu's seacond Pokemon gained. Mabibo literally came to him while Imamu was playing a Banjo at camp-fire. Mabibo seems to be very attracted to music, he can't sit tight in his ball when Imamu is playing.

Mkunjufu, Whiscash
Mkunjufu, meaning cheerful person in Swahili, was Imamu's third pokemon. Imamu is not much of a fisherman, so the first time he tried his canoe flipped around and he got dragged underwater by his catch, which escaped instantly. When he finally got himself back to shore, with the canoe floating somewhere on its own, he found this Whiscash, laughing at him like a maniac. Provoked by this Imamu instantly jumped back in the water and had a head to head fight with this whiscash. Imamu not using a pokemon to fight, of course failed miserably. Whiscash thought this was hilarious and decided that this man was dump enough to keep him constantly entertained, so he decided to go travelling with Imamu itself.

Ua, Cradily
Ua, meaning flower in Swahili, was Imamu's fifth pokemon. Ua is as unpredictable as his daughter. Ua is weird, literally. She does weird stuff. She couldn't care less about Asha, the two are constantly fighting. Ua is very attracted to Imamu however. Asha thinks Ua is jealous to her because she is his daughter. But, who knows. Weird Ua is weird.

Kipenga, Drifblim
Kipenga, meaning whistle in Swahili, was his fourth pokemon gained. He captured Kipenga as Drifloon soon after getting Asha (Imamu thought "Kids like balloons right?"). Asha has been playing with this sassy pokemon all her life.

Mlima, Metagross
Mlima, meaning mountain in Swahili. Mlima was Imamu's first pokemon. He didn't capture it, Mlima was given to him by his grandmother, only weeks before she died of old age. Mlima is an elderly pokemon with lax nature. He silently understands and accepts everything happening around him. A wise pokemon, who sometimes takes the lead and keeps Imamu from doing bad decisions in his life.

-- Oh right, I didn't put the front-shot in the box on the upper right corner. I placed the front view with side view to to the left hand side of the app. Hope that's not a problem!

-- Accessories? NONE. The bastard is as poor as a church rat. He has a camper and a shiny bandanna. That's it.

Seriously, the Pokemon franchise really does need more out-and-out black people. Not just "ambiguously brown" folks like Brock.

I love the disco theme, the fro, and the idea of a this carefree guy suddenly having to man up to take care of his daughter.

Also, those Pokemon have some wicked movesets!

I totally agree with you, Pokemon world needs more coloured people! I was kinda disappointed as Iris looks more like someone who had a bottle-tan than an urban brown girl strait outta Amazon, but guess that's called "anime black".

Thehee, thank you.
