Description
And now, a little story and an image to go with it:On the 45th year of great sultan Reznobastar's reign, a travelling theatre came in the town, with them a shady bishounen dressed in an odd garb. The theatre stayed a while in the capital, entertaining the peasants and soldiers alike, gathering a steady following of fans. But not once came out the bishy guy. When word of the theatre's skills reached the sultan, he wanted to see these masterfully wrought plays by himself, sending a messenger to invite the troupe to his grand palace.
There was a constant buzz in the court on the night the actors arrived in the palace, with them the weird bishy guy. As the director (DIKCTAETORR) of the theatre approached the sultan, bowing as to bang his head on the exquisitely decorated marble floor, he announced that tonight's play would be the infamous "Dancing swords" by Pirr Leeboz, adding that this was the first time ever this play was played. The sultan and the court were overjoyed to hear these magnificent news, a new play by the master playwright himself. This was certainly something! The curtains opened and the play began much to the court's delight.
As the play was unerringly drawing to the final battle, on the stage hopped a figure, dressed in curtains. uhm. yeah. The figure was holding in its hands two swords - a slim shimmering scimitar and a decorated broadsword. Engaging the audience with a courtly bow and then turning to the big endboss monster with a smirk in its mouth and a sparkle in its eye. The figure took a couple tentative steps toward the monster and moved the swords in perfect arcs, launching into a wild spinning dervish dance. The audience stood mouths agape as the garb of the figure came a little apart, revealing an alien-looking polished breastplate. The monster was dazzled by the sparkle and shimmering speed of the swords, missing its blow, only setting loose the long dark hair of the figure, adding more to the swirly pointy tornado person -appearance. Moving both its swords in unison, the figure slashed the monster, severing the monster's head and spilling its guts. The audience burst into a great cheer and the sultan himself stood up and started applauding the magnificent performance. And then the bishy guy married the sultan and lived his life happily ever until the sultan wanted to have the bishy guy's services in the bedroom, mistaking him for a female.

I like the subtle details of this. It matches the flow of the piece, like water flowing in a river.

Very nice work!!! And he isn't buffed out to wazoo, how original!! Honestly, the Wardancer is very suitably dressed; not what you encounter with other art depicting warriors. I love the ornate design on the blade and shoulder pad. The windswept hair is very nice and had you not put in the story, I would have said your Wardancer was a woman.
