EDIT: Re-enabling comments. I'm getting more favs on this than I thought I would, so I'm curious what people have to say if anything. (Had them off before cause I didn't want to talk about the cause of this pic's existence, but things are okay now, so it doesn't matter anymore.)

Waking to a grave silence, Bruce slowly sat up. He couldn't feel any pain, but he was stiff, and he stuck to the floor slightly from lying in a pool of his own blood that was now dry. He turned to look away from it with a strained sound of shock and fear. But turning to the wall, he saw some of the bloody contents of his skull now decorating it. 'Oh God...'

He was still alive. He had gone and put a bullet in his mouth, and he was still alive. The Hulk had taken away everything. His job. His life. Betty. And now it denied him even the peace of death. As that realization sunk in, he felt even more terrified and sick than he did before he tried to end it. He can't die. He'd be trapped within himself forever. Not only did he now have keep himself in check out of fear of killing someone, but he now wondered if he'd live watching everyone he cared about die. He almost laughed at that thought. He reminded himself he didn't have anyone left. He had left what little of his family behind to think he dead. He had no friends. Never really did. He was alone. The story of his life.

He ran a hand through the back of his head. His hair was a tangled matted mess of dirt and blood, but there was no gaping wound. Not even a scratch. His eyes stung with tears he faught to hold back. Sitting in a shaking hysterical mess with his arms wrapped around his legs, he wondered... What was he to do now.

I enjoy taking my angst out on Bruce. Lawl, I shouldn't have even gotten out of bed todayyyyyy.
