Recently I joined the chimereons group and become a bit more infatuated with the semi-closed species by . I've always wanted one of these little cuties! Okay enough gushing, on to the character description.

Name: Gaines
Species: Chimereron (Herpian)
Pronouns: He/Him
Likes: Arthropods, old book smell, cool fall/spring days, alone time, rivers/streams, aquatic ecology, fish (both study and eating)
Dislikes: hot summer days, forced interactions, surprise hugs, really hugs of any type
Hobbies: Studying transmutation magic, keeping insects, cooking (he loves making stews for the small amount of friends he keeps), housework (keeps him calm in times of stress).
Tiny bio: Gaines is more of a shuddin than a social butterfly. Even as a youngster he preferred the company of the insects and arachnids he shared his home with rather than other creatures. While trying to figure out how a beetle was able to move about he gently played with the beetles claw, after which he noticed one of his claws had turned as black as the beetles! After some time what ever magic that turned his claw black faded away and it became normal again but after that he sought out the reason behind the extravagant metamorphoses.
