I was playing with some very similar effects last nice. I love the unpredictabilty of this sort of thing... the whole chance you may catch a real jem. This is wonderful.

i have been doing this lately around the campfire with a flaming stick. It gives some interesting results. How did you not show up as a blur in these? were you wearing all black or something?
