Not so much of a fan of the scene as it's kind of boring to me, however I absolutly LOVE the colour and atmosphere in the use of colour. Gives it a rehlm of dimention which is what wins the browny points for me in this one Nice colour job

Superbe... Ta série récente sur Bordeaux est très chouette. Tu fais mention d'un "marathon" ou d'un "concours" (si mes souvenirs sont bons, j'ai pas eu trop le temps d'être sur deviantART ces derniers jours) et ça correspond à une période où il y avait un marathon photo à Rouen aussi (organisé par la Fnac). Est-ce le pendant à Bordeaux, je veux dire, est-ce que c'était un marathon photo organisé par la Fnac sur le thème de Bordeaux ?

bah oui a priori...le tout premier concours fnac a eu lieu l'année dernière à bordeaux, ( je ne sais pas s'il y avait eu d'autres concours numerique fnac avant ailleurs), c'etait aux memes dates 1er et 2 octobre 2004
cette edition etait la deuxieme.
merci pour le compliment, c'est vrai que j'ai quand meme deja une facheuse tendance a prendre bordeaux en photo, mais le concours m'a donner un nouveau pretexte pour reprendre plein plein de photos, en 1jour et demi j'ai rempli deux cartes memoires de 256mo , c'est quand meme un peu beaucoup, il me reste pas mal de photo a trier et a peaufiner pour les ajouter a ma collection de travaux "finis"

L'année dernière j'avais rempli un 1Go de photos dans la journée aussi.
(Beaucoup à trier et peu à vraiment garder...)

The color in this is AWESOME! Kind of that new-wave/sepia look to it, that and the angle you shot this at.

I like the tone in this one, it seems rusted/copper. Also the tilt of the camera works well for the picture.

How do u manage to make the colour adjustments so good?!? Ur not using the photoshop hue/saturation or colour balance things are u?

i use color and dodge layers + some hue saturation on the base image

not so hard you know i had to experiment a lot of things, and it was a fun process... i must admit that i have found process that works quite quickly , and i know i should experiment more

Yehr, I wish I were patient enough to play around with my pictures and make em more artsy. I just get really frustrated when I hit a dead end, and stop there Plus I only open photoshop when I really wanta good effect, it takes 10 minutes to open on my miraculously fast pc
