Story:
  Emily was excited when a new show started up in America. But it was hard to pick who would be going with her for the show. She couldn’t take Shenzi since she did not like traveling to the states unless Naruto or one of her children was with her. And Naruto couldn’t go cause him and her boy Warrior were out for another show with her brother. As she was thinking about who was left to choose from her horses, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to see her friend, Avi , behind her.

  “Oh hi Avi, did you need help with anything?” The blonde smiled but shook his head.

  “Nope. I just wanted to know who you choose to bring to the states. You need to send in your form for the Mystery Ride class really soon.

  “I know but I really don’t know who to choose. The only ones who don’t mind plane travel is Starr, Noel, and Lance. But I don’t know how they’ll be with new riders…” Avi chuckled.

  “True but, you’ve seen how both Starr and Noel are with little kids. So I would choose either one. But if it were me, I’d choose Noel.”

  “I can’t take her. She just had a foal almost a couple weeks ago and is nursing another one alongside hers.”

  “Actually, It wouldn’t hurt to take her. She needs the exercise and she wouldn’t be doing anything to much really in terms of it. And you know how easy she can be with people. And don’t worry about the foals. They’ll be with me and they’ll be fine.” Emily groaned.

  “Fine, I’ll go with Noel. I’m gonna send it tonight and we’ll all fly out in a week. Help me get everyone set up and ready for when we leave. Are you taking one of your horses with as well? Cause I need to tell the air lines how many horses are going on the plane.” Avi nodded.

  “Yeah, I’m taking Finn with me since I have to do a couple shows in Wisconsin.”

  “Oh that’s right. I forgot you entered a couple shows too. Alright, I’ll go get everything submitted. Now shoo, go get ready.” Avi chuckled again and they both went to go do what they needed to.

~A week later~

  Emily, Avi, and Emily’s daughter, Maria, were up early getting everything loaded into the truck before going to load up the horses. Emily started her truck and went to the barn to get Noel, Gypsy, and Madison. While Avi went to get Fin from the other barn. Emily, loaded the three girls on and once Fin was on, she closed the trailer and hopped into the driver's seat and off they went to the airport.

  After a long ride there, they had a LONG plsne ride to Minnesota. So, after the horses were loaded, they checked in and got on their flight. After it took off, the three fell asleep for the ride.

  After it landed, Everyone was up, got their stuff, and exited the plane. They got the horses and loaded them into Avi’s aunts trailer and headed to the barn where the show was going to be at. They got there and unloaded everyone and put them into their temporary stalls for the night. In the morning, Emily went to go get Noel for the mystery ride exchange. She was excited to see who she would get and who would get Noel.

  Once everyone had arrived, they were giving an envelope with their new horse in it. Emily opened here's to see a small description of the cremello stallion and his name. 'Hurricane huh? Sounds like he'll be fun to ride.' She thought as she looked around for her mount. When she saw him, she tied Noel to one of the posts and walked over to the stallion. She reached out her hand so that he could sniff it. When he did, he raised his head and tilted it a bit in confusion. It seemed like he wasn't use to other people riding him and the new environment and people didn't help either.

  "Hi boy. It looks like I'll be your rider for the day. I hope you won't be to hard to handle." She grabbed onto his lead rope and began to pet him when she heard an excited squeal come from behind her and then a cry off pain followed by glass breaking.

  "Oh that doesn't sound good..." She turned around to see a guy, who looked slightly younger than her, on the ground and Noel nudging him in a panic trying to wake the boy up (Shish Kaboob ). She was about to go over there to check on him when a girl came to him and helped him up and made sure he was okay. She sighed in relief when she saw that he wasn't injured to bad. But she felt sorry for him and she wanted to make it up to him. Though first, she was going to fix his glasses. But after that, she had to make him feel better. She couldn't think of anything at he moment, but she would have to think about that later. Turning back to her mount, she petted him again and went to get him tacked up.

Now during tack up, Emily noticed that Hurricane either did not like his girth being tightened right away or he wanted to see what he could get away with, but he turned to try to nip at Emily until she smacked his nose. And after that, he seemed to stand still with his ears back for the rest of the tacking processes. After he was all tacked up, Emily mounted him and entered the arena for the 10 minutes that they had for warm up. Warm up went fine other than the occasional pulling on the bridle, but he was fine none the less.

When they were done with the warm up, Maria came over and asked her mother if she could paint a couple hearts on Hurricane. Emily agreed since it matched the valentines theme of the show. Emily got off real quick to help her apply the hearts. And surprisingly, to Emily at least, Hurricane was loving Maria and stood really still and patent for her. After they were on, Avi came up to them and and tried to convince Emily to put a matching heart on herself too. Emily mounted Hurricane again and her and Avi argued about the heart for a couple minutes before the class was called up to begin. After a while of them arguing about it, Emily finally caved in and agreed to wearing the heart too. So Avi quickly applied it to her before she started the class.
