Who out there remembers Brer Rabbit and his two adversaries, Brer Fox and Brer Bear?These characters were featured in Song of the South, a 1946 American live-action/animated musical film produced by Walt Disney and released by RKO Radio Pictures, based on the Uncle Remus stories collected by Joel Chandler Harris. They were later adapted into Walt Disney World's very famous and still popular attraction, Splash Mountain.

We had to order it through another country, either Canada or France. I guess that it is for sale outside the states but not inside. But it was worth it to add to the Disney Collection.

Always great to see them getting some love. I've seen the walk arounds of Brer Fox and Brer Bear at Disneyland a few times. Too bad you never see Brer Rabbit(though I did see him around Easter time).
Wonderful piece of that final drop through the Briar Patch. Gotta love Splash Mountain.

Yes, it is a classic isn't it?! Last time I was a WDW, the temp was around 55-60Β° and no one wanted to ride it cause they would get wet... so i missed it from the trip. dang! ah, well... Β it's certainly something to look forward to next time.
