Did u start the hair with a lower layer, then keep adding erased lines over and over

well, yes for the most part and a lot of it is done by drawing around the white hairs as much as possible. It's a lot of layering

well, it takes about an hour to explain it but I use darks for the undertones and small .03 mechanical pencils and a very sharp eraser.

hey is that Fabriano Artistico satinΓ©? Please tell me because I wanna buy one block of it but I'm not sure if it's good and it's not very cheap
The hair is amazing.. maybe there's too much contrast between the so-hyperrealistic-hair and their faces that look more like a drawing...

Thanks! I draw around the white hairs and also use a very sharp eraser to pull more white out of it.
