Yeah, that's true. There were definitely several good games for the Dreamcast and just like the Nintendo 64, it's definitely a party consoles. Multiplayer games galore!

Honestly, I don't know! But ever since Power Stone came out for the Dreamcast, I've been waiting and hoping for a Power Stone 3. This series just can't die off with the dreamcast, but thankfully they brought it back with Power Stone Collection for the PSP. I'm glad they did that, but I still want Power Stone 3. Power Stone has the potential to be even better with a third sequel, there are many great possibilities for the third. More and bigger stages, all the weapons from series and new ones, a lot more new characters and most of all online multiplayer is a must. This is game is Capcom's answer to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. I want Power Stone 3 so bad, you have no idea! I'm such a ridiculous very huge and dedicated fan of this series, and I'm always playing the Power Stone games, especially Power Stone 2. In my opinion, this has to be the best fighting game series that Capcom ever made since they practically created the fighting game genre. But yeah, I will keep on hoping and wishing for Power Stone 3. Power Stone will ALWAYS RULE!

Ditto. Power Stone 3 would definately need new characters without going overboard. I always did compare the Power Stone series to the Super Smash series too.
I am also very thankful Power Stone collection came out for PSP (I own the game, one of the first in line to buy!). It's taking me a while to unlock everything, but all the more challenging. You do not know how much I've missed that game! I used to play it all the time on my Dreamcast until it got switched with my uncle's Dreamcast (his doesn't work). When I heard it's coming out for PSP (via the magazine: PSM), I knew I must buy it! Still handles the same!
Power Stone is one of the games of which I will always remember, along with Neo Bomberman and Starcraft (two more titles that deserves reviving).

I'm still playing Power Stone Collection and I did play a lot of Power Stone 2 back in the Dreamcast days! When I first played the Power Stone demo, I immediately got addicted to it and fell in love with the game and the series!
Bomberman definitely deserves a revival too! Bomberman 64 and Bomberman Hero are my favorites! I would love to see Bomberman as a guest character in the next Super Smash Bros.

Yeah, definitely. Heck I even discussed Capcom cameos for Power Stone 3 with a few fellow Power Stone fans. The best cameos suited for Power Stone 3 are Mega Man and Dante from Devil May Cry. They fit very well because they have used all kinds of weapons in their games. Dante has awsome weapons in Devil May Cry 3 and uses them in many awsome ways! Plus the Devil Trigger Transformation in just perfect. Mega Man gets weapons by defeating enemies (bosses). These are the best one's to put in Power Stone 3. I would love to see that.

Yeah, and it just so happens to have an item in Power Stone 2 called the Buster gun thing... but yeah, it's like mega-man. I could just see Mega-Man running around Blue Sky Area...

Yes, good idea! Two busters is better than one. Mega Man could cause some serious damage when both buster are fully charged. Two giant blasts would make an instant kill when combined together! The Power Stone fighters will know why he is called Mega Man! lol.
Now for Dante, Since he has his sword, he could dual wield his Rebellion with any other sword from Power Stone 2. Rebellion combined with Legendary Sword, Dragon Slayer, Flame sword, Thunder sword, Ice sword, regular sword, Power Sword, or Amenomurakumo (Power Stone Collection featured item)- Dante would be very deadly with any of these combinations. Firearms he is good with too. His throw, ground wall and ground pole attack would similar to Accels, he would use his signature guns (Ebony and Ivory) to knock Power Stone out of his opponents. I guess if Dante gets 3 Power Stones, his transforms into his Devil Trigger form. These two cameos are definitely great to put in Power Stone 3. While there should also be new Power Stone 3 characters to join the existing Power Stone Collection roster. All this talking makes me want Power Stone 3 even MORE and at the same time makes me wanna play Power Stone Collection.

An instant kill? That's gotta suck (for the person getting shot). It would also be cool to see Dante (I don't know who he is; never played is game) dual wield a sword and gun. It'll be all like slash and shoot. Or the gigantic hammer, you know that thing can kill all three of your power stones if your in transformation!? Smash, you lose it all. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ah, you don't know who Dante is, so you've never played Devil May Cry. Well I'll tell you this, Dante is a badass demon hunter who is a half Demon himself and is the son of a legendary heroic Demon. If you check capcom.com(US version), you can find out more about him. If you ever get the chance, you should definitely play Devil May Cry, and Devil May Cry 3(the prequel to the original). I've never played DMC2, and I heard that it wasn't as good as the original if not better. Devil May Cry 4 should be coming out soon for PS3 and people are looking forward to that game.
I'm guessing that when Mega Man gets 3 Power Stones, he would get an Ultimate Armor. Power Stone might have an actual chance of revival now that you told me that. Capcom already made a compilation for it, so why not make a long awaited sequel for next gen consoles. I would love to have Power Stone 3 for the Nintendo Wii. (the only next gen console I have right now) It would be amazingly fun to do the stuff they do in the game, pick up and throw an item, swing a sword, shoot a gun, mimic the movements of the character to do their Power Drive and Power Fusion moves!

Dante huh? Sounds like Blade, the half-vampire vampire hunter. (DMC 3 to DMC to DMC 2? Out of order?) I think I do recall seeing some footage from the PS3. people are really hyped.
Yeah, Power Stone was pretty revolutionary in my opinion. I mean, have you seen much games where you can pick up a cactus and throw it at somebody around the time? Imagine it in high-def, needles splurting everywhere, blood going... nah, doesn't seem like Power Stone to go into the gore section. Power Stone's fine just the way it is. (I have a 360 Elite btw)
You ever think they would add new maps (obviously, but, yeah)? I mean, the maps from Power Stone 1 were pretty complex, if you were hit against a wall pots would fall on your head. Imagine that thinking with multiple stages throughout a level with comPLETE AND UTTER CHAOS!? boom!
Imho, I do think that Space area level was pretty bleak. It could've used more interaction with the alien. Haven't they already done the Indiana Jones style level, they should make more! That was the best!

Sweet! You have a 360 Elite, I've heard about it and how better it is than the regular 360. The only thing I have is the Nintendo Wii (I'm enjoying that very much, and I can't wait for the most anticipated games for the Wii, I think Power Stone 3 is a must for the Wii)
I agree with you that Power Stone was very revolutionary. This is a fighting game where you can do so much more than do punches, kicks, and throws. Power Stone doesn't need gore, but however it can be more like Dragon Ball Z, you can have the battle damaged effect (They can add that and keep the Power Stone gameplay the way it is). The stages in both games are amazing. The stages in Power Stone 2 are great, but the only I see is that there could've been more stages. It just isn't enough! The battles were pretty chaotic and insane just like Super Smash Bros. Power Stone 2 is definitely is amazing for all the kinds of weapons you can use (the different types guns, bombs, swords, traps, and all the other funny and comical items). I have thought of several possible stages for Power Stone 3 that would be simply INCREDIBLE! (Volcano stage, Pyramid, Jungle, Military Base, new and improved version of the Power Stone 1 and Power Stone 2 stages, Casino, Coliseum, Circus, Carnival, Tropical Island, Museum, Garden, Mansion, Prison, Train). Just imagine going through these possible stages and moving through each level from one area to another. Boss battles are a must in this too! Fighting an Ice monstser, Fire monster, Ogre, Giant Ape (KING KONG! hehe), Shadow Monster, Three headed monster, Giant Dragon, Mutated Plant, Giant living Statue, One eyed Blob montster, Giant Demon, Giant Golem, Ghost, and more! Just thinking about all this, it's so exciting!

yeah, and I agree with the comical items. I mean, Pitfall Loop? That's goofy! They could use more toon items, like a toon gun and sword! I also did enjoy the added items, like those fire, ice, and thunder dragons. They help at the right times!
And the boss fights were pretty creative in Power Stone 2, a sphinx was one I couldn't have thought of but Dr. Erode (?) was pretty basic. The casino and the carnival, garden, military base, and mansion are good ideas. Imagine getting hit against a slot machine and having coins splurt out, dealing extra damage!
Now the Casino map brings me to a new topic: costumes. I know they had a dressing room in Power Stone 2, but it wasn't all that good and not much to choose from. If they had added more costumes, pre-set alternate costumes, now that would add more variety!

I"m glad you brought up costumes. I think the Power Stone characters should get new costumes, you get to choose from the old costume and the new and you can customize your character like you can do in Tekken 5 (Equipping your character with accessories, and changing the color of the costume too!). Each character would get their own specific accessories. I think it's great to have your own customized version of your favorite character.

I know! I borrowed Tekken Dark Resurrection for PSP and you can customize that sumo wrestler to look all futuristic with all this flying saucer stuff on him!
Imagine running around with Ayame in Pirate suit or Falcon dressed as Bruce Lee! IT's gonna be even more comical!

Yeah, that would be funny! Who knows! Ayame might make a good pirate even though she is a ninja, and Falcon would be Bruce Lee, but with blonde hair. hehe! Wang Tang would have to have a Dragon Ball Z style outfit since he is a tribute to Goku anyway. Any thing comical and badass you can put on your character is always great.
I have Tekken: Dark Resurrection and there's so many items to put the characters and it's fun to do. I would love to have that feature for Power Stone, so I can customize Wang-Tang in my own way.

You crazy about Wng-Tang? I used to when I played Power Stone on Dreamcadt. Now that I have it on PSP (which I'm glad for!), I usually play as Accel or Wang-Tang.
You know what's weird? I noticed that the extra characters that are playable in Power Stone 2 from Power Stone has two of those Power Fusion attacks? And they can kick! (Kraken and Valgas) And the characters from Power Stone 2 in Power Stone 1 (as special characters) can use 2 of their power fusion attacks? Like Pete, you can electrify them with that spinning air attack long after you've already fallen to the ground! And you can do it twice!

You have no idea how crazy I am about my boy Wang-Tang. Heck, someday I hope to cosplay as Wang-Tang's transformation! I could see myself with the whole golden spike hair, the goldenrod skin color which would take awhile just to get the body paint on me and the whole outfit. Then I could do poses and mimic Wang-Tang's moves!
Yeah, I noticed the gameplay of Kraken and Valgas in Power Stone 2 and the same for the Power Stone 2 characters in the original. It seems weird and unusual to me.

But you could use the unbalanced characters to your advantage! It must really suck to use Valgas' air leg kick against multiple opponents, they'll get pissed!
Now you can't really piss of computer opponents can you? And I haven't met anybody with Power Stone Collection to this date (except you, of course). That brings me to Online Play, Dead or Alive went into online play, so why can't the make of Power Stone? That'll give you a chance to show off your customized character, and prAwn them at the same time!

Good point about the unbalanced characters, I doubt the computer has the ability to get pissed off! hehe! The only thing that sucks is that I can't find anyone with PSPs and people that have Power Stone Collection. I have found some people with Tekken, and Twisted Metal and had a few matches. If Power Stone Collection was online, you'd be the first I'd request too! I would love to show off my customized character and show my opponents that's he's a force to be reckoned with!

Yeah! I love Neo Bomberman (hee hee), and the best part of Bomberman that you can send PSP users a demo and play online right on the spot! And you can use the GBA port in the same way!

Well, I have heard of my friends hooking up SOCOM to the internet and playing... (via PSP). Wish Power Stone could do that. They should've done that to think of it.

Yeah dude! I unlocked the bomberman style mini game and I also haven't played it! This really sucks! I just can't seem to find anyone with a PSP and Power Stone Collection and has unlocked the mini game!
I mean come on! Power Stone Collection should have online and being be able to play with other players around the world. If Tekken: Dark Resurrection has that, then Power Stone Collection should have it too! Capcom seriously needs to make a third sequel. That's not too much to ask, they need to give this game a chance.
Dude, this random thought just came to my head- Since Tekken is one of my favorite fighting games, I actually imagined a Capcom version of Tekken. However I had my own roster of characters from the Capcom universe, in other words my favorite Capcom characters. Here's my roster-
Power Stone- Wang-Tang, Falcon, Accel, Ryoma
Street Fighter- Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Chun Li, M. Bison
Mega Man X- Mega Man X, Zero
Devil May Cry- Dante
Resident Evil- Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine
Onimusha- Samanosuke
Each chacter would have their own signature moves that you would see from the series. For example- Dante's Dance Macabre technique from Devil May Cry 3 (his most insane attack in my opinion, it's crazy!) as well all his most familar and common moves and attacks from the series. Mega Man would have his signature charged shot from the Mega Buster and Zero would have his Z-Saber and do some awsome attacks. I'm not sure how the Power Stone characters would work out but, I guess they can start out transformed, however they can use their normal moves and combos and the Power Drive and Power Fusion moves!

Power Stone not only needs Revival, it deserves and needs a lot more recognition! I am glad that Power Stone was named one the of best Dreamcast games of all time but also one of the best fighting games for the Dreamcast too! But still Capcom should make a third sequel! Now that the next gen consoles are out, this is opportunity to make it happen!

Anyway, back to my idea!
This Tekken style Capcom fighting game that I thought is as follows- The gameplay will have the Tekken controls, two punches, two kicks. Each character will have a great variety of moves. Just like the Street Fighter Alpha games, there will be a gauge which you must fill up as you fight to be able to perform the Super Combo Moves such as Ryu's Skinkuu Hadou Ken, Wang-Tang's Dragon Dance, Mega Man's Super Charged Mega Shot, Dante's Dance Macabre, etc. and of course you use the regular moves such as the regular hadou ken, Mega charged shot, etc. This came would be so in depth like tekken, to have amazing moves, throws, and combos.

And, you know how some people think that Japanese characters in games say stuff that people regard as gibberish? Well, after listing Ryu's attacks, It kinda makes more sense to me as to what he was saying.... !
That Tekken style game you listed sounds well worth buying! I'd buy it for the fun of it~! Since it is your idea, what do you think that game should come out on? PS3, PSP, or Xbox 360 and such? Because I can almost feel the controls happening on Xbox 360 because it has that old-school controller the sell for arcade type games, it would fit right in! And what about the name? Power Fighter? lol!

What to call the game? hmm.... good question! I was thinking maybe since the story of the Tekken series involves a tournament (The King of Iron Fist Tournament), I guess I would call it Capcom World Fighting Tournament! Characters of the Capcom universe battle it out in a tournament to see who is the best! Power
As far as which console- PSP, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and the Arcades too! I'm already getting images of this game in my mind! Just awsome!

Is there going to be a background story? Like in Unreal Championship 2 when Anubis was being sabotaged by his fellow competitors? Or a mini-story like in Unreal Chamionship 2 when Raiden from Mortak Kombat came into the tournament looking for more warriors in the great battle he's preparing for? Ooh! I just got the idea of putting Raiden in there! He could be looking for warriors (like he always is)! Even if you don't like Mortal Kombat you've got to admit the Raiden is a pretty tight character. And Mortal Kombat has a cool theme song too!

Are you kidding me? I like Mortal Kombat and I love the theme song! Raiden is actually one of my favorite characters. I love his fatalities, especially the one where he electricutes you until explode!
I guess the background story could be something similar to what you said. I was thinking something like this- M. Bison from Street Fighter holds a tournament and secretly looking for warriors who can serve his purpose- to have the ultimate soldier under his control to do his evil bidding. Using his Shadoloo technology he uses a machine to bring out warriors from different eras (Mega Man from the future, Power Stone characters from the 19th century and characters of the present). They are all summoned and Bison announces and forces them to enter the tournament. The one who makes it to the final faces Bison and if he or she defeats Bison, the prize is a trophy and prize money.
That's my story. Suprises will include Akuma will make a suprise appearance in the final battle with beating Bison after without any continues triggers a cutscene and Akuma will destroy Bison with his ultimate move- Shungokusatsu (Raging Demon in English). And then you face him. Defeating him will be no easy task (he's a freak!) Of course each character has ending so look forward to that.

Yeah, Raiden in Unreal Tournament has that same electric fatality. It's fun! And Raiden in the game could also be looking for warriors. (This way he wasn't forced into the tournament... I mean come on, you can't force an elder god to do much...)
But how about the grand prize be something else? A trophy and prize money would be kinda bland. Like something that would really get the characters hyped up (in a sense). Like a Power Stone... he he he. But, you know it would be cool if you had a failure ending too, that would be uber awesome! Imagine Falcon talking to his Father, or Jill getting eaten by Zombies! lol

Yeah, you're right the prize should something else. Yeah failure endings are a good idea too! For example- If Falcon or any of the Power Stone characters lose to M. Bison, Bison takes that person's Power Stone plus Bison would do something to that certain character. Mega Man X would be killed by his enemy Sigma, the same goes for Zero
Samanosuke would be killed by some big monster or demons
The resident evi characters would be killed in a resident evil style way- Jill getting eaten by zombies is a great idea that you came up with! I like it!

Yeah... how about two endings? (sorry for shoving ideas down your throught...) A regular one, a failure one, and a goofy one? (that's three...) Like have a serious character's ending (victory or failure) be a goofy one! Imagine Akuma defeating Bison and like have something totally random and silly come from offscreen and knock him out... lol
Like I think (I think it was Jin...) when one of those fighters in Tekken: Dark Ressurection strapped his family to a rocket and shot them into space! That was ha ha-larious! And in high-def too!

A victory, failure, and goofy ending! I like it! The Power Stone Characters should definitely get goofy ending considering some the endings in Power Stone 1 were goofy.
Well in the Devil May Cry series, Dante is a demon hunter with a really good sense of humor and he's always ready to joke. He's like Sonic the Hedgehog, loves the rush of adrenaline and adventure and he dislikes evil. You should definitely see how Dante acts in Devil May Cry 3. He can kick serious demon ass! Devil May Cry 3 cutscenes you can probably find on youtube.com.

I'd put Raiden (Already established, right?) and someone else from a different universe.... maybe someone from the DoA universe, like Linda (?) or ayane. How about Marvel and DC characters, like in Marvel vs. Capcom? It was fun using people like Roll and Megaman to beat up Spiderman and Captain America. How about a custom, made up character? One that would belong to your own specific, game? Guest characters are nice, but it's nothing without original characters; it'll just be a mash-up. Make up your own... Like a Bruce Lee type of guy. Or a retarded robot... like Gir from Invader Zim (Nick, inc.) He's AWESOME!
I was gonna say Neo Bomberman and his friends (black bomber, and the characters shown here [link] ) but he's also best suited for Super Smash, like Shadow. Imagine Shadow getting sucked up by Kirby! Kirby would be badass

For your game, do you think you could add something like a mystery character? I recall one being in Mortal Kombat, and Charade from Soul Caliber is pretty self explanatory. How about one of those? I'm sure you recall Super Smash Bros., but did you know Hudson Soft made a special game featuring Wario in a Bomberman game? I think it was called Wario Blast! for the Game boy. I loved the idea, play as Wario vs. Bombers or Wario vs. his henchman. It looks like a great game!
And, since Wario is going to make an appearence in SSBB, why not add Bomberman? Who here thinks so? *raises hand*

I say yeah! Bomberman deserves to be in SSB Brawl! The Bomberman games for the Nintendo 64 are the best in my opinion!

Wow! All these ideas we thought of! The possiblities are literally endless! The characters, stages, features, modes, and other stuff! This is why I wanna a job in the video game industry! I think all gamers have always wanted to make their IDEAL game. I have mine obviously and I'd love to make it happen using my ideas and yours and anyone elses to make the game the best it can be.
