I was disappointed that Into the Spider-Verse went with that stupid giant Goblin. With animation, and that style, they TOTALLY could've made a Green Goblin that looks straight out of the old comics.

I really like the design of Goblin in Into the Spider-verse. They took the "just a fucking big monster" from the ultimate comics, and made him into a gargoyle godzilla with with green goblin hat. It's reminiscent of the original design, while still adapting the ultimate comics version... *Phelous voice* and then he died!

They could have but Giant Goblin is from the Ultimate universe which Miles is from so they kind of had to go with that one, hopefully in the sequel we get some proper Goblin and I would bust the hardest nut if Dafoe came back to character.
