Description
Look I'm not even a superhero comic reader (I mostly only read Dylan Dog and I'm more into graphic novels that aren't about superheroes), but I appreciate these films for what they accomplished. The two Guardians films, Thor: Ragnarok and the latest one, those that are more outlandish and set in space, are the ones that I find more fascinating because I like SciFi, I like this franchise the most when it's more like a Space Opera than a superhero fare (but I still love me some Tony Stark and Spidey). And again I'm fascinated by what they managed to accomplish with this interconnected movie series, all handled by people that shared an idea and did their best to make it come true the way they envisioned it. I can't help but be impressed that they pulled it off. It's something that will hardly be repeated or even done this successfully, hell people NOWADAYS try to make cinematic universes without accomplishing what the MCU did.
Also, man... 10 years. I'm not a huge fan of EVERY film they made (I'll hardly collect every single film on DVD), but this franchise has still been part of my world since I was 14. These characters, these scenes, these moments are the stuff that I'll remember when I'll be older and I'll tell the next generation how I was there when it happened and how it felt seeing it evolve and grow up with you.
Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland, Chris Evans/Pratt/Hemsworth and a couple of CGI characters will stick with me the same way stuff from Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future and some other things did with people of the previous generation, and looking at them will remind me of when I was younger and I walked to the theater to watch them, I'll relate them to this stage of my life, among other things.
I re-watched Infinity War last Sunday and I felt compelled to do this admittedly sketchy piece of art, but nonetheless a way to express my appreciation. I know it's sappy but what can I do, when I really dig and have an attachment to something, I get involved.
UPDATE: this does not include Phase 4. In fact, I was disappointed by Endgame and things got only downhill from there.
It's just not the same writing teams anymore, it's like zombie Simpsons. Hacks playing around with the hard work of those who came before them. They rely too much on references and cameos and actors reprising roles, it's not like early MCU that actually put effort to make you care.
If you're someone who's perfectly fine with Phase 4... just do me a favor and click elsewhere and leave me alone. I don't care, I'm just kinda done with the MCU and I'll just move on with other things. It's been a pretty solid decade of superhero adventures and even with an uneven ending I'll have good memories, I don't care about this new crap, thank you very much.

Biggest franchise yet. Aside from the movies, they made shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Daredevil.
The Avengers franchise will alway be my favorite. ^^ The Guardians of the Galaxy movies remind me a bit of Star Wars.

I feel the same way. I'm not much of a Comic Book Reader. Though I never got to watch them at theater, my childhood was almost build around these guys. IronMan was like my favorite Super Hero Movie when I was little. It was released when I was like 8 so you can imagine. I remember watching Thor, Captain America, Hulk, SpiderMan, the first Avengers Movie. Though I haven't watched some of the movies, ("Dark World", "Age of Ultron" "Black Panther" etc) They have been a big part of my life and always will be. I'll definitely force feed it to my kids. *Kappa

Hey, remember when the MCU was just a little teaser from the end of *The Incredible Hulk* and *Iron Man*?
I do. I was there. And I can say that I agree with your sentiments 100,000 percent. This is the bar that cinematic universes will strive to reach forevermore. I can only hope that the MCU can keep it as high as they have going into the next phase of their films - Avengers 4 will be the make-or-break for that prediction, I can sense it.
On an unrelated note, did you know that there's a little website that lets you find out if you'd survive if Thanos came by to "balance" the population? I survived...no one else I know has.

I just hope the way they fight Thanos off won't be a copout or some sort of deus ex machina, and I hope that even if Spider-Man and the others come back, experiencing being erased from the universe better stick with them, what Thanos did to them in 2018 should remain impactful in their minds.
I got two computers, in one I was killed, in the other I was spared lol

Honestly, I have a bad feeling that the "DeM" option is probably the most likely answer, given what kind of powers we're messing with here - my best hope is that it'll at least make some level of sense within canon. I've seen theories online, most built around the Time Stone...but I have a feeling that it'll actually have something to do with the Soul Stone instead - notice how its true powers still aren't really all that clear? Every other Infinity Stone has had its proper chance to shine on its own, but the Soul Stone was more important for what it meant in terms of the plot than what its own powers were.
...Wait, does that mean you're now some kind of Schrodinger's Cat that exists outside conventional reality? Are YOU the real key to undoing Thanos's work!?

If you like the space stuff from the movies than maaaaaan you would hate the space stuff in the comics, holy shit is cosmic marvel batshit insane, Thanos and infinity stones is surface level stuff, cosmic Marvel is nucking futs.
Also I love the projector coming out of his chest.

I remember seeing in 2014 a review of some early Rocket Raccoon comics on YouTube and in those he fought space clowns lol
And yeah, Tony projecting the film was the first thing I visualized when making this.

Early Rocket Raccoon also had him riding giant worms that in order to control he had to "pleasure" them.
