Description Sitting down thinking of an original story. How would I make a dinosaur film?
I'd make one with feathered dinosaurs and be as scientifically accurate/plausible as possible.

"PFFF, dinosaurs with feathers are sooooo lame!!!" you're quite wrong, my child. Having feathers allows for some cool designs and colors as long as you have a creative mind, I also want my dinosaurs to be fresh, stick out from all the other depictions from movies that are all the same and be instantly recognizable.
Besides, feathered dinosaurs can be intimidating. Don't believe me? Look at this: c1.staticflickr.com/4/3860/147…
Now imagine that larger... with sharp teeth... and sharp claws. Quite the "NOPE" material right there.
So in the words of Dr. Grant, try to show a little respect.
I'd also like to depict the dinos acting more like animals, I'm tired of them being reckless killing machines that mindlessly roar and screech like idiots whenever they show up. It's time to think outside the box.

On that note, what would the plot be? I was thinking of visiting dinosaurs through timetravel.
In a far, far, far distant future where everything is peaceful and advanced (I'm also a little sick of dystopias and post-apocalypses, we've kinda done them to death) the new archeologists send cybernetic explorers back in time to retrieve correct data of Earth's history, thanks to this we've managed to fully learn almost everything and solve the mysteries of our past.
These replicants/mecha explorers don't need to be fed and they can't be infected or get ill from interacting with ancient people (believe me, if you timetraveled in medieval times for example, that would be EXTREMELY hazardous because it would be a different environment with DIFFERENT BACTERIA our bodies aren't used to, it's something many timetravel stories don't take in consideration) so now they send one or maybe a group of them to explore the Cretaceous and find out what the dinosaurs actually looked like.

I'll keep my focus on Evilokio right now, but from time to time I wanna share some other ideas and concepts I have like this one.

You should read the Jurassic Park books, the deaths in those are much more fucked up than the ones in the movies.

Pretty good concept, me I wouldn't do that for a dinosaur film.

my ideal dinosaur film would be an adaptation of The Land that Time Forgot, the first of the Professor Challenger stories by Arthur Conan Doyle.
Dinosaurs are present in it due to Challenger discovering a part of Earth where they never died out.
I admit that making the dinosaurs historically accurate is a good idea, and I might use it too. It would probably be an adventure-comedy film though.

I would also have Professor Challenger played by the absolute best person for the role...Brian Blessed.

Edit, forgot that book was called The Lost World, not the Land that Time Forgot.

And that is called "perspective".
That death chicken is actually 3 feet tall.

Correct, and it's probably not gonna attack the guy because it's already feasting on that dead dino.

I'll be honest, a feathered dino film would be visually gorgeous to watch. There's so many different kind feather colors and patterns in birds today, imagine seeing all that in big intimidating reptiles! I'd be spooked and amazed at the same time
