I want to make art between Spinel and Arthur Fleck.Both poor broken, needy, wrathful fellows, let's pair them together so they have each other's backs and shoulders to cry on. Yeah, I aim to make scenarios that are more like the thing below.
But even when they're in "fuck everything" mode I would make them do goofy stuff like:
Spinel: HeY, WaNnA gO BuRn DoWn WaYnE mAnOr?!?
Joker: Meh...
Spinel: Wanna go break open the gates of Arkham??
Joker: Hmmm...
Spinel: How about we destroy that factory that makes DVDs and Blu Rays of Disney remakes?
Joker: Sure!
Either way it'll be wholesome in the strangest ways.

As someone who went to watch the movie with their friend on my birthday,this is fucking PERFECT like my god,and i will say.....i did kinda sympathize with joker,i did not wanna admit it but i do.....i mean why couldnβt you? He had such an awful damn life,and some scenes later on reveal more truthes on his past and makes it even more tragic.....and this is the first EVER continuity where he gets a proper name,and backstory unlike most of his other iterations which makes him even more compelling in my eyes.

I didn't bother seeing Joker because it would have ruined my image of Todd Phillips, I was already disappointed after seeing War Dogs because it really wasn't so funny, I prefer to remember Todd for his comedies (particularly The Hangover), but now that he's made dramas like Joker and War Dogs, it's like his wild college days are over and he's grown up.Β Same thing with Adam McKay when he made The Big Short and Vice, I didn't see either one of those because I want to remember McKay for Anchorman, Talladega Nights and Step Brothers, and we've also got Adam Sandler taking on dramatic roles like in Uncut Gems, which I didn't see either.Β Hollywood just doesn't make straight-up comedies anymore, either dramas or dramedies, it's like they're all suffering from depression.

At least you had a good reason. Many people in the Mainstream Media were trying to get us thinking that this movie would cause violence. Instead, it made people facing down at the stairs like in the movie.

I actually had an idea for a Spinel/Joker mash-up, but itβs the climax of the movie, and it takes place in that βCN Cityβ we used to see in the bumpers for Cartoon Network during the 2000s, with Spinel in Arthurβs/Jokerβs place, while Space Ghost would be in Murrayβs place (though, I think Zorak would get a kick out of Joker!Spinelβs βjokesβ, while Ghost would tell him to shut up and tell him to try and be βprofessionalβ).

I am the kind of person who does not watch sad movies or specifically characters like them two because every time I see stories or painful scenes like you end up crying or putting a great shame (note that I am very sencible)
When some scenes of Arthur gave me a lot of pity and I did not want to see more suffering for this poor guy and the same thing happens to me with Spinel that I became very fond of her and it hurt a lot everything that I had to spend the poor baby
Sincerely they are characters that I would like to give you a hug and comfort ... even if they are a little crazy

The bottom image is definitely my favorite. The dejected posture of Arthur/Joker and concern of Spinel combined with the white background (the white room with black curtains?) just makes it a perfect image of sadness and comfort.

Joker: "Exactly! All those years meant nothing to her, she just left you without ever looking back. You were made to be her best friend and she just threw you away like a child being bored of a toy. Doesn't it just fill you with grief, pain, despair, all of it enough to make you go insane? And you know the best thing going insane, you can laugh at any tragedy because to us, it's just one big joke."
Spinel, mind finally shattered, begins to chuckle which transforms into a maniacal laughter as Joker joins in as they both laugh at the insanity that is them.
