Description
Usually werewolf transformations have the body stretching, swelling up and then claws, fangs and fur growing out.I adopted the stretching, but added something new to it, I wanted the transformation of my werewolf to be straight up body horror and truly cringe-inducing at the thought of being subjected to it.
From where Vule (the poor cursed guy you're looking at) was bitten by the werewolf, the scar swelled up squirting blood out as these tentacles and muscular tendrils grow and expand all over his body under the skin. His eyes are filled with blood (and his tears of pain become blood) before turning red. As the body stretches up where it needs, these tentacles under the skin re-organize his body and muscle structure into that of the werewolf, his face swells up and then expands forward growing fangs and the whole head takes the shape of a wolf head. Then claws burst out from beneath the fingernails ripping them apart.
I noticed that not a lot of werewolves have tails, so I gave one to mine and made it into probably the most painful part of the transformation, with the end of his spine expanding pulling the skin from above his anus and then ripping out in bloody flesh.
Once it's all over and the new muscles have taken their place, the body is covered by the pitch-black fur. Tadaaa...
I listened to the unused (but later inserted in The Hateful Eight) track by Ennio Morricone for The Thing called "Eternity" while imagining and designing this transformation. www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2u4yS…
Vule sits at Zhanna's apartment alone, then when the full Moon rises he feels attracted to it, so much so he goes up at the rooftop of the building to directly stare at it. Listening to "Eternity", the first part reflects the cold and chilliness of the snowy rooftop and the growing sense of dread between the glowing satellite and him.
Then, when Vule notices blood leaking from his sleeve and he rolls it up to reveal the disgusting throbbing scar with the expanding tentacles under the skin of his arm... BAM! That sting of creepy ominous organ music at 3:05 of the video kicks in and accompanies Vule's gruesome metamorphosis.
Tho, while drawing this I listened to "Bestiality" as well: www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9_yNu…

If this gets turned into a film, it had better be in practical effects.

It kinda puts me in mind of a weird hybrid of Evil Dead and An American Werewolf in London

"I noticed that not a lot of werewolves have tails..."
Typically it's usually Hollywood Werewolves that don't have them, which is stupid cuz the Tail is always on the WOLF and would carry that aspect over to the Lycanthrope formation. Either that, or people are too "Caudalphobic" (fear of Tails) for their own good.

I love how it starts at the bite and moves it's way to the rest of the body. I've never seen it done like that before (unless I'm an idiot and it's been in a super popular movie or what not and i just haven't seen it lol)

No no, I looked at the most popular werewolf transformations and compilation videos to take notes and come up with my own take. Similar to my pitch-black, red eyed shadow werewolf, I want my transformation to be instantly recognizable to people.
The closest thing to this is Rasputin from the first Hellboy film when you see the tentacle monster he's housing moving inside his hand: thumbs.gfycat.com/EnragedRareI… But as you can see it's a small brief thing.

‘‘ I wanted the transformation of my werewolf to be straight up body horror and truly cringe-inducing at the thought of being subjected to it.’’
You got that so well that there should be a gore tag.
