Tee hee I usually don't give criticism because people are so sensitive nowadays. But since you ask, I'd love too.
The monster is great. I love all of the textures/ muscle tones in it. The details are wonderful, though I can't imagine it closing its mouth (I guess it would have a huge underbite and its top teeth would stab its lower jaw). But since it's an imaginary monster, anatomy is left to the artist, so it works.
For the girl, like everyone else said she has a very square chin, and her nose and eyes seem really high. This makes her kind masculine, but not in the "strong female" sense. More like she's cavemanish (sorry if I sound like a douche). Her arms also seem very long, and her hands seem large. It might just be her fingers though (they're very thick). I also feel like her face is too far out from her neck, it's almost like she has a thick mask for a face.
She also looks kind of bored. I feel like there should be more expression going with what she's doing.
But I think the thing that bothers me most is the cat. Its front arms seem long, which I think is because you kind of gave it a humanish shoulder? Or just a distinct break where the arm would attach, which looks odd. And the lower part of the cats arm is longer than the top (the part closer to the shoulder). In reality, it should be reversed.
I see what you were going for with the bottom leg. Like how animals have rounder haunches. But the way you drew the cat, it looks like a large ball of flesh with a leg attached, though I'll give you credit because you don't draw them often. And the final thing~ the way she's holding the cat. I feel like it would be more fitting if she was holding it under its arms (like Simba : D), or if you kept her holding it in its midsection, making it look flopped over. I'm pretty sure it couldn't hold itself up like that if she was holding it like that. And fur over her fingers would be nice. I guess the cat just looks like it's floating.
That's all that I can point fingers at. Sorry if I sound pretentious... or just like a douche. But it's better than any of my stuff...mmmmmm hope this helps.
