I forget the name of the webcomic (something black, had to do with magic were-creatures, good grief it was forever ago), but I saw something like this once.
Basically the main character gets turned into a werewolf (well, a furry, honestly), and goes right to alcohol to help cope, but the artist actually went and drew out them having to figure out how to guzzle booze without getting it everywhere.
