Backstory
The way Gojira and Domo's clan works, is that the leadership is passed down to a heir of the past leader and so on. So, Gojira being the oldest of the two, was always trained and worked hard to become the new leader of his clan, while Domo, like there dad(Had two male parents) was trained as the shaman. Neither of the brothers ever complained though, they where happy to serve there clan as much as they cold.
Gojira was always happy to become the next leader, and keep his clan safe. He worked hard to become strong, trained to become a good strategist, studied to be a smart leader. But not only that, but both his parents where compassionate people, so he became a kind leader as well.
Sadly though, Gojira and Domo's decent lives became ruined, the day they lost both their parents, and Gojira became a leader before he was even ready. Another rival clan attacked, who they thought they where friendly with, but it seems not. They not only attacked, but they set the little desert clans home on fire, and being in a desert, the fire did not go out easily. Both the boys where still young, only teens at the time. Both their parents.. Died protecting them, just in different ways. But sadly, both the boys had to see their parents die infront of them.
Their clan... Sadly lost this fight, they had to retreat, lose their home, their leader and healer and quite a few of their clanmates. Leaving only 40 survivors out of the clan of 100. They ran from there home, and had to find a new place to live. Gojira was forced into his leader role quite young, with the 2 elders of the clan that lived, backing him. Luckily, Gojira did very well as the leader, and they also had the help of other clans, that where still friendly with them and wanted to help the desert clan get back on their feet.
10 or so years after their lost battle, the clan was finally alive again. They had rebuilt their homes, their windmills for a little power, and new children where running around the streets. Even so, Gojira was still quite busy at all times, and hardly got to live his own life. Even worse, when Gojira hit the age of 26, the elders had set up a arranged marriage for him, worried they could lose their leader again and not have a heir to take over. Gojira though, went right along with it, willing to do anything he could to keep his clan alive and happy.
Gojira got married, only having met the woman that night and never really feeling love for her. But, they had a child either way, and a heir was born. Though... Their rival clan from the last attack, not only hearing of them rebuilding and getting back on their feet, heard of the new born heir. They attacked again 5 years after Gojira's heir was born... But, with them using the same attack as last time, a fire to cause choas, the clan was ready. Not only that, but they had friendly clans close enough this time, to help. So this win went to Gojira's clan... But not without its causalities...
Gojira's wife and child where killed, Gojira getting the scar over his eye as he tried to get to his child to save him... But he did not get away in time... The child was killed, and the heir gone. The only good thing, is since that attack, there have been no others, and their clan could finally live peacefully for a bit. Taking out their rival clan, they only had friendly ones now. Since that day though, Gojira has not taken another wife or husband, or even tried. To busy focusing on the clan itself, and not wanting to lose another child... And so far, the elders have let this go on, seeing if he'd find a real love... But that day has yet to come, so the elders may have to make the choice for him again.
