So this was the storm we had the other day. I only just downloaded it last night with a bunch of other stuff, then never got around to editing it.It's not super good, but its the best I could do. I was standing out there for a good 2 hours trying to get thins... everything that could go wrong did. Wrong lenses, couldn't find me cable release, no lightning for 15 mins, started to rain, couldn't find an umbrella, couldn't open the umbrella, found out that digital doesn't do well over a thirty second exposer(it gets big noise issues), had to deal with trying to click right on time, there was fork lighting at the same time as sheet, so i kept getting majorly blown out shots, lighting started happening in random places were i wasn't pointing the camera, street lights, houses and trees in the way... the list goes on.
But I'm happy with what I got.

i find it easier to just take movies and capture a frame. i got a kool flash of fork lighning a while back in another storm and it looked cool

I think films is easyer, cas you can give it like 60 second or more of exposer without get loads of noise.

sweet. yeah, there was alot behind me (at the mountain) but I would have had to take like a 30 min walk in the rain with all my gear to get to a spot were I could see it.
