Located in the Crux section of the Scutum-Crux Arm around the G7 type star Gazala, the planet of Rruyleamd is the homeworld and capital of the Dennmenordel, one of the major players of the Garician Worlds and the Rendanor League. Its slightly eccentric orbit of 0.61 AU puts its firmly withing the habitable zone, with a full orbit taking 188 days to complete (or 82.7 local days, with a full rotation taking about 54 hours). Two moons, the smaller Emirdi and the fairy larger Biful orbit the planet in turn very close, exerting significant tidal stress on Rruyleamd, resulting in increased volcanic activity and a very eroded coastline due to powerful tides.

With its low axial tilt, thick atmosphere and large content of greenhouse gasses, Rruyleamd' surface is subjected to a very hot, humid climate, its two major landmasses covered by extremely thick jungles even close to the poles. Near constant storm bathes the forests in rain, and most plants rely more on capturing the fallen rainwater than absorbing it through their roots. With a low gravity of just 0.69 g, these forests are capable of growing far taller than on most worlds, reaching in places heights of well over a mile (1.6 kilometers), but even these are dwarfed by the Kadayy- tree like organism that can live for tens of thousands of years and grow continuously, some becoming so massive that they can easily be mistaken for mountains. Is is within these monsters that the natives have built their civilization, building elaborate cities crisscrossing their massive bulk.
