- Hypnosis: though not used as much as when she was younger she can send someone into a trance or lull them to sleep. It is not as powerful if the person is aware or unwilling to accept a given suggestion.

- Psycho Cut: she channels her psychic force into a slicing attack, mainly used for self defense and even if it wouldn't work on her attacker it would at least effect the area around them.

She’s a soft sweet young woman who loves to help others, even if they likely don’t deserve it, and trusts very easily. History:

Clara was born into a fairly normal family. Both of her parents worked as psychologists that specialized in hypnotherapy, and she also has an older brother who at first they both had a hard time getting along with. She was very young when it was discovered she had greater than average psychic abilities, which gave way to some destructive fits and parents paying more attention to her. Their relationship was always a little rocky until she was about 10.

It was about then that one day Clara and her brother had gone to the police station where their parents were consulting on a case to meet up with them. They waited around the entrance when a scuffle broke out between a detainee and some officers that were just entering that quickly devolved into a hostage situation… Clara being the hostage. To try and buy time for himself by throwing the focus onto someone else he slit her throat and tried to make a run for it. Thankfully he failed and Clara quickly received medical attention so her life was spared, but she somehow got an infection that caused vocal fold paralysis, causing more difficulties for the young girl. The criminal was quickly apprehended and brought to justice, a case in which the siblings later testified at. In the mean time though it took a while for Clara to recover.

This greatly shook her brother and parents and they became very overprotective of her. Clara didn't have much say in the matter, not because she couldn't convince them but because she could no longer speak. While possible it was exhausting and she very quickly grew to hate how her voice sounded. With much therapy she gained use of her voice again but because hated how it sounded, it led her to become a selective mute. No matter how often she was reassured she would not utter a word unless it was absolutely necessary.

The one who discovered that she was able to speak telepathically was a nurse caring for her at the time, in hopes of rehabilitation. When discussing the matter with her family they found it was limited in many ways and that they could not hear her, but it was likely her best option in terms of communication. But a curious and adaptable little girl, Clara went off and explored the different ways she could "talk" to others and even taking up sign language. All in all she was able to live a fairly normal school life, with some assistance. She made some close friends who have been with her for years through thick and thin. Unfortunately there were still limitations thanks to her disability, she realized this not long after graduation and applying for jobs.

At the time she was trying to put her way through college and pay for her own living experiences In a way it was her way of rebelling from her still overprotective family. In the end she made the rash decision to drop college and work instead, moving far far from home to a notoriously crime riddled city to work at the university there as a janitor. She didn’t let any of it bother her, and tried to face each day with a positive attitude, but was perhaps thankful for her previous schools required battle training, and her family’s instance she learn to use her abilities for self defense combat. She’d made a few friends, weird as they were, but after a city wide incident she was forced to return home. She hasn't really thought of it much since.

Since then she’s moved in with her best friend in the cool college town of Daigakkou City, and has started commuting to Minata Town to work for a cute little pet shop she found.

Other:

- She has exactly 6 tentacles on her head hidden in her hair, and can manipulate them to some extent, such as movement and holding light objects (like pins). Usually she uses them to keep her hair back like ties or bobby pins. Unfortunately it makes getting haircuts difficult so, as with her current hairstyle, can cause such to come out uneven and messy. Please don't touch without permission they can be sensitive.

- Because she is mute she has had people try to take advantage of her because of her inability to say the word "no" out loud, so she really dislikes playboys and flirts who will not back off.

- She often wears rain boots, loving the various colorful designs. She has a decently sized collection of these, scarves and hats.

- Has a cross shaped scar on her neck, one part from the incident, another from the surgery. Usually covers it up with turtlenecks and scarves. Hates summertime because of this.

- Just because she is mute doesn't mean she doesn’t make absolutely any sound at all... like sneezing, a surprised sound or laughing softly.

- Has slight asthma so can not do physically strenuous activities for long. Luckily she's psychic and also keeps her inhailer on her.

- She has a justifiable fear of sharp things, namely knives and blades, and has trouble cooking cause of this. She can bake really well though.

- Her ability, Contrary, acts as kinda suppressant in stressful situations, causing a calm rather than panic where others might. It can also effect how she reacts to some situations and people, being less afraid or shy around those that are intimidating but more so of those that are beautiful. While this isn’t always the case, it will take some talking to to figure out if she likes you or not anyway.

- Best friends with Wisk , they split an appartment together. Does not appreciate when people get the wrong idea though, she wants better for her friend.

- She think’s her Boss is pretty cool, and really likes working with the animals.

Some people depending on their types might not hear it at all (dark types) while others might hear static or it might be too loud (fighting, poison) but generally most others can hear her as if she were speaking normally. It can be a little disorienting or unnerving to have someone speak directly to the mind though, so until they get used to it or she slips up she tries to lip synch to her "words". Her control is not perfect though, so there are slip ups. Sometimes someone might hear her when she doesn't intend to be heard or if she is listening to music they might hear the same song, luckily this can be passed off as random thoughts or simply a song stuck in their head.
