Ah, yeah, they're really popular. I never got that heavily into DN, or into Black Butler at all. I'm not against mainstream series, I just don't usually think they're as epic awesome as most people do.

It saddens me that great series like Gankutsuou, Monster, and Princess tutu- although Princess tutu does have decent popularity, just not as much as it deserves- are overlooked for things like DN and BB x-x

Ja, it is a bit sad. Although, honestly, I couldn't really get into Gankutsuou or Princess Tutu, either. I tried to for my friends, but it just didn't take. >3<

Gankutsuou is my favorite anime~
Takes a while to get used to the art for some people. I tried three times before I watched the whole thing, then I was like "THIS IS WHAT I WAS MISSING?"
Plus, it's the only anime to make me cry more than once. ;-;
How far did you get in Princess tutu? Because it takes a while, but by the end it's just fantastic.

XD I hung in with Gankutsuou for about five episodes, and it honestly was only because the art was unique and interesting (if not a bit bizarre). I gave it up, though, because the plot/story just did not tickle my fancy, no matter how much I tried to get into it.
I think I went about the same number of episodes with Princess Tutu. I didn't much care for the characters, though, which is why I gave up on that.

Princess tutu doesn't hit it's stride until around episode six or seven, and then it gets progressively better as the series goes on. Characters like Fakir become worlds more likable, and gain backstory.

I did read how the plot goes after I gave up (I usually do before quitting a series, so I at least can say I finished it in some form). Although I'm sure the characters may become more likable, I don't much care for how the plot unfolds. >3<;

I still love Littlefoot, it took me some 20 years too release that my favorite type of Dinosaur was and is Sauropods >< I could never answer that as a child.
When this came out I was one years old and can still remember seeing it at the cinema, it's my earliest memory. *I'm lucky to remember this because at two and a half I was hospitalized with Bacterial Meningitis*
