The first one ALWAYS makes me cry (and I'm turning 20 in July). I just LOVE #1-3 the best. They went downhill the more they made them though (especially after the series was announced). Love this stamp

Yeah, I think anyone who was around before the series would agree that the first handful of movies are the best. The rest....some are moderately good, but nowhere near as good as those first few. >3<;

nearly 21 and I'm not afraid to admit that I still love The Land Before Time, that's got to be my all time favourite film, I remember we had it on video and never stopped watching it, only recently now I've donated it to charity LOL
I remember picking it up for a bargain at a store in HMV, it's a great film, still love it

yeah, god, the Land Before Time's a great film, too bad Don Bluth didn't get as many succesful masterpieces like Walt Disney did, but still, Bluth's stuff is amazing

LBT was a HUGE part of my childhood. Couldn't stop myself from watching them over and over and over again and learning the songs. I think I watched one of them not too long ago. Mostly VHS with three of them on DVD. Can't bring myself to watch the latest two. *sigh* After The Great Longneck Migration I figured I would rather have my memories (woooo movie 5!!!!)
Am I right in hearing that they've made a TV series? I'm horrified. >_< Ruins the total purity of the original movies. Especially the first. Only vague memories of it, but I remember it was beautiful.

Yeah, I've got the first five or so movies. Stopped buying them after that, and then after another movie or two I stopped even watching the newer movies. I have gone to great lengths to avoid the new movies ever since. >.>;
Quite unfortunately, I must inform you that they did make a television series. I watched about five seconds of one episode out of curiosity, and then I had to turn it of, lest I be forced to spork myself in the eyes and ears. In other words, you're completely right about the ruining the purity of the first few movies. It was a cruel and ruthless murder, it was. >_<;
