The animated model sheet for *Ebon-Spire-OCT . He will be uncharacteristically partnering up with Millenika, the "other" kilo monster.

Outstandingly groovy. He looks incredibly fearsome, the animation makes him look convincingly weighty and poised to strike (the flick of the tail is a nice touch - a sure sign of aggravation if ever there was one), and the menu interface is well put together. I love the sketches, too - they really show just how expressive his face is, and the shot at the top left (the one of him looking amusedly bashful) can't fail to raise a smile. Fab work!

Very VERY cool, Kilo! Very cool! To see this guy in motion only augments his...well...for lack of eloquence, his utter RAWR-ness!
This is a WIN! I suppose I've forgotten that the guy is a downright bad-cat.
Admit it, you enjoy drawing his sweeter side. ^^ I do the same thing so I shouldn't chastise. I do the same thing with my character Gharnu Bigtusk.

It'd be awfully helpful if you could mention what exactly would make the colors and character better. Because EVERYTHING could be better, which is something I already know.

i cant say it in english correctly, sorry )
read some books for color pairs and triades, graphic books like berdslay*s, about light and darkness, color toning, and practice, practice...
take a a yellow-blue pair, and see what color matchs to other - variate tone, intencity, saturation... and size of color mass on pictire... (tip: yellow must be smaler than blue, and less intence.. blue can be various ))
and, also read about composition basics )
(yup, i am a art-course teacher, but my engish is craap >.<

Not sure how much critique you'd like at this point but I figured I might give some slight advice that might be an easy(er) fix When he moves, since his tail is moving first, it's implying that his tail is the source of power that's moving his whole body. Perhaps if the tail moved slightly after the rest of him it would give a bit of overlapping action and follow through
Also, if you offset the arms and head just a slight bit (so they aren't starting and stopping together) it'll look more natural
but again it depends on how in depth you'd like to get with your animation

Nice animation! I like how quick the tail moves and it makes me think of how an angry cat's tail swishes back and forth. The rest of the animation is pretty smooth, good job!

man those flash model sheets are sweet, you really make them look natural without overdoing it. Good stuff.

i like the idea of kinda , flash character sheets ! your characters are always so cool. Is he breathing ? or just ..GRR 'ing , just something that kinda catches me off that if he is just breathing the movement is a bit too much /slash/ moves forward a bit too far. But im not in your head so that crit could be moot XD lol
someone already passed you the s/c curves thing , only other nitpick is the tail starts moving up before the body moves forward , when it should be following behind
its neat to see you come up with these things i loved the previous one you did as well.

It's really nicely drawn (and certainly better than anything I've done in flash ), but perhaps another note on the tail is that tails are a passive feature that follow the motion of the body. As it it now, the tail is moving before the body so it looks a bit like it's pushing the rest of the torso into motion. It's a good start, though, kudos on not just making everything move at the same time like some early animators want to.
[link] here's little a thing on S and C curves, in case you don't have any refs on one. It's a really good thing to keep in mind for tails, as well as anything else that would have something passive trailing after it, like a hand on a waving arm or anything like that.

This is great. The only problem I have is the cloth around his neck. It looks really odd it being stiff like that. Same for his tail.

Something that I think would help both of these recent flash moving things is if you frame-by-frame animated a tail-swish. It would help fancy things up, is easy to animate, and help it step a bit away from the tweening look and help make it a touch more natural.
