Description
The final page really shows the variety of emotions that Korra brings to the table as a character. The look of surprise at hearing her father while the curtain is on fire is priceless. The look of confidence and grand exit from her room are so much a part of what she is about. Really well done and enjoyable.*Derisyan was commissioned by ~Happy-TGer to create this four page comic depicting a fan changing into his favorite heroine.

I find it interesting how the father assumes (correctly, granted) that that's his son and not some girl who's broken into their house...though, if a girl showed up in my house and was able to do a flaming kick through a table, I wouldn't argue with her about who she was XD
Also, I guess she did kind of respond to 'son' even if it was in a completely different voice

Consider that the son is a fan-boy of the highest order. He is obsessed with all things Korra. He'd have to be considering his transformation into her. Now, the father probably has had information overload from his son regarding the show, the characters, and even can tell what Korra looks like based upon forced fed statistics. Also, the son, up to this point, has probably been painfully shy around girls his own age. The father is all too aware of this fact that it simply is beyond rational thought his son actually started up a relationship with a girl. Far more believable that his son managed to break the laws of physics and or gender to become his own fantasy girl come to life.

Eh, it is either that or the household periodically changes members of the family into iconic characters from television series. That might just explain how the mother transformed into Emma Swan from "Once Upon a Time."Β

I'll be honest, somehow, I prefer the idea of the ex-guy being Korra for the rest of his/her life and not having him constantly switch around...I wonder if (s)he would ever get bored of it...though I doubt it
Also, something that I thought of when the after I posted my original comment was that maybe their memories were altered slightly...not enough to make a real difference, but, enough that everyone would recognise the now ex-guy in his/her new body...would make life convenient...as would a slight change in legal documents

Yes, but they could save a fortune having her star in a live action movie about Korra. Ummm, jus don't get that guy who directed "The Last Air Bending Debacle." Someone showed that movie to me for free and I still feel like I spent too much. ^^
