This is an old photograph my father took . He was a photographer. He passed away in 2001. I was looking through some old slides, and came across this beautiful photo he took of trees. I have a love of trees just like my dad did. I took my camera and on zoom snapped the image. I put it on my computer and with brushes started to colorize and manipulate the image to make it look like a painting. This image is special to me because I had An estranged relationship with my dad. I have forgiven him for not being present in my life. This work means a lot to me that I took his work and combined it with my work to make a collaboration. It symbolizes for me connecting with my dad.
