Yeah, I remember readingΒ it in a book about temple architecture in India backΒ around 2010.Β I remember that year as a time when I binge-read about India and China. The skull-and-snake is a Shivaite symbol.

Yeah, very few people know about these things. Me and my friend usually binge read about these things and then both of us choose one to try and draw

The combination of flowers and the snake along with the skull brings a nice life-and-death-symbolism to it. If I remember correctly, a skull with a snake wrapped around it is an ancient Indian symbol of the cycle of life.
