uh well
for the brief period in which i had a cat, my dad refused to declaw him ("THAT'S ANIMAL CRUELTY! HOW WILL HE SURVIVE IN THE WILD!?") and whenever i pet him, he would purr and dig his claws into my thighs (it was a kneading-type movement--like a massage, only with claws that left puncture holes in my legs).
then my mom found out she was allergic and the cat had to go ;_____;
cats are (generally) either height-lovers or ground-lovers. and they enjoy dangly things. a LOT.
also ripping things apart seems to be a source of great enjoyment for them
...
