How did you get your eye to look so dark? It's almost hypnotic.

While editing, on a new layer I used a black brush to go over the white of the eye then reduced the opacity a little so it's not just a flat black.

Nah, I know there are contacts out there to get this effect but the black part of the eye/sclera was edited.
