The horse trotted slowly to a stop at the edge of the cliff. Bakura's arms relaxed slightly around her, and Kiya's grip along the horse's mane loosened as well with the stop in motion. Down below, they could see the golden glow of the Pharaoh's kingdom. It had been years since Kiya had seen the offending city and her blue eyes narrowed with hatred. Behind her, she felt Bakura's chest give a rumble with the low chuckle he emitted, sensing her anger.

"I'm going to destroy the pharaoh and his subjects along with this wretched city." he said softly, his raspy voice the only sound in the desert. Even the horse was unusually silent. "With your power, we could easily decimate the kingdom."

Kiya said nothing, but her eyes hardened at the thought of tearing down the empire that had ruined her life. She wouldn't be sorry to aid the thief king. Used to her silence, the man continued.
"Once it's all in ruin, I'll rule over this pathetic world and bring about an age of darkness." One hand released the reins and touched her hip. She could feel him leaning into her, his sturdy frame pressing against her back, white hair tickling against her cheek as his warm breath blew across her ear, with a cold and inspiring promise.

"This city, the kingdom, the world...it could be ours."

I checked the time stamp of this drawing it was literally in 2012. ten years. wow. I may need a new hobby lol.

Anyway, I like a lot of the improvement. I remember how much fun I had with the original drawing, and that it had been done completely by mouse. I definitely have better tools, and an understanding of basic anatomy lmao. I also can draw horses :yay:
