IMO, I think it would fit him better if he was older (he looks 13-ish) but that's not a problem, just my point of view so whatever.
Anyway, the colours are AMAZING, they're so warm and work wonderfully together, and the shading is particularly soft. I love how the highlights in the hair blend.
As for mistakes, the only thing I spot is that the arms are a bit short, but I think you got thrown off by his weapon anyway (which IMO again should be bigger xD).
