Been awhile since I've done this detailed of an image.This was done for Elfquest.com's Fan Friday. This week the theme was Cutter, Chieftian of the Wolfriders.
One of my favorite stories is "Kings of the Broken Wheel." It was a good story. Part of that is how Cutter deals with his family being stolen from him by a rival and taken forward in time. This piece is to show some of the pain that comes from being separated from your loved ones and wondering if you'll live to see them again.
What to read what happened, they have the whole series to date on their website in the Digital Library. I recommend it 100%!
This was sketched in pencil and then colored in Photoshop.

Hard to believe it's been so long! Have you seen that Elfquest is back with a new story? "The Final Quest" Pretty exciting stuff!
As for WoW, we are planning on playing. We ended up moving servers and going back to Horde, so we're over on Earthen Ring now. BUT... we're also playing Guild Wars 2.
