My contribution to the Deathly Hallows fanart spam. You'll probably be seeing a lot more soon, I have about 50 sketches but they all suck so... xD I didn't care if this one was sucky because I just had to get this moment in.

All the deaths in the beginning of the book are rushed and we don't have time to stop and think about them and honour their memory. The first time Harry actually stops to contemplate things is when he buries Dobby. I think this is the part of the book where I became overly sentimental and realized how much the characters meant to me and other HP fans... because even though they're fictional, we'll never see them again. We won't even see those who live again. I even cried when I drew this. It was inspired by the song "Fix You" by Coldplay; maybe if you listen to it you'll understand the piece better.
