This came from a sketch I did at work the day after I finished watching the Samurai Champloo series. It was sooo good! Definitely up there in my top 5 favourite animes. It was so beautifully and stylishly done! I loved it. Anyway.So this is Fuu, doing her hair. I almost added Momo in there, but it turned out akward and I took him out. Background images just gotten off of google and whatnot. Stock images of sunflowers, textures, etc. Tried something new in terms of shading and using textures. I hope to do more works like this in the future <3

hehe thanks! yeah the background used to be a lot busier, but I had to tone it down so that the picture had a little focus

That really good, the pose is well executed and I like the scratchy kinda colouring. I havn't seen that series yet.

thanks! I had to try hard not to make the background match the character too much. I tend to do that a LOT, and then the character gets lost in the picture
