This came from a sketch I did at work the day after I finished watching the Samurai Champloo series. It was sooo good! Definitely up there in my top 5 favourite animes. It was so beautifully and stylishly done! I loved it. Anyway.So this is Fuu, doing her hair. I almost added Momo in there, but it turned out akward and I took him out. Background images just gotten off of google and whatnot. Stock images of sunflowers, textures, etc. Tried something new in terms of shading and using textures. I hope to do more works like this in the future <3

very well done! especially the coloring. the only thing that seems off to me a bit are her legs, they appear a bit unproportional to the rest of her body. they seem like they need to be longer. other than that, well done! background is lovely as well. samcham rules.

I can't ever work out how to do them properly, but I don't have photoshop ( I use the GIMP) so I can't find any tutorials

Okay, now that's just awesome. I'm a big fan of Samurai Champloo, and this just ROCKS. It is what fan art is supposed to be! It is a perfect representation of the character, without the numerous flaws found in most fanart (i.e. mine). This just totally rocks. Can't stress it enough.

I absolutely adore this! The coloring and background are fantastic; everything is so bright and colorful. The shading is also very well done. I love all the different textures.
You drew Fuu pretty well, but, as someone already mentioned, her feet look a little odd from the angle they're at. And, it would pay to give the girl some knees.

Looks great! I LOVE that series! In the process of finishing up myself right now (4 episodes to go). The only things I noticed are her legs and knees are quite small and her left foot is turned out too much for the angle she's sitting at. It makes it look like her ankle is broken. Other than that, you did a great job!
