"Alright. I said I'd get a sample, and damn it I'm going to get one." It takes Lliy all of 10 minutes to stow her pack under the bed, attach a much smaller satchel to her belt, and climb up onto the bed. She hesitates when she nears the top and peeks over. A squeak escapes her mouth and she quickly ducks her head again. "How was I supposed to know he sleeps facing this way???" After a few deep breaths in and out, she peeks back up before making her way across the mattress and to the side of his head. "That's right big guy. Just keep snoozing." Armed with a simple pair of scissors, she starts to saw at a thick lock of hair resting on the pillow on his right side.Erein was really only half asleep and when he felt tugging and heard a small voice his eyes sprung open. His big blue eyes now locked on the small girl with a tail. He laid there completely baffled at the creature as he knew there was no way she could have come from Earth. His first reaction was shockingly fast when one thinks about his size and his hand was around Lily in seconds and Erein sat up still only wearing pants. "What are you and why are you sawing at my hair? How did you even get here?"
Small scene from an rp between *Filanwizard and I. Lily, an ambitious field scientist, was studying Erein from afar on Earth before he opened a portal home and she stowed away in his duffle bag to follow.

His world is at his scale and that is what he calls home. He does visit Earth at times in part due to having tiny friends. Technically his first run in with a human scaled person was an RP with Kindii involving an apple and teleportation.

You can always bug Filan for details, but from what I gather, it's a mix of both. The people of his planet and everything else there being a much larger scale than say, those on earth. But whether on purpose or by accident, the mage seems to end up on earth fairly often. At least he seems to make small friends there, so planned visits occur too. ^^
