Description
Title just was from Mirror to the Sky by Yes
Yes put out a new album every bit as good as their early, foundational work but even more perfect
Determined to shake this creative block so forced some doodling, including using my tablet and new tools via Clip Studio Paint 2
The Goblin is "Grilmac" from a webcomic I did for years off and on. He's at the top right and bottom - neat vector ink + reference layer. If only I had that tool years back.
Middle heads are "Omnans" for a buddy's work - "Omega Crusade" - by Maxx Feral he sent me some of the texts so working sketches on some of the character designs.
Middle right colored picture is the main bad guy Aternox teaching some Omnans fighting and war, a skill he invented being an immortal and the first born of Mankind... In the background the Relical engine that had watched over this tribe of Omnans, the natives of this last planet in the far future, is being infected with the "End Dragon" which is the evil force of this series.
Again citing the bottom image, I WISH I had this thing years ago - direct sketch to vector trace to vector coloring.
There's issue with AI and all that - I'm not against it at all, might play with it myself but this "Old Dog" will focus his new tricks on drawing again though it might make incredible backgrounds which I used 3DCG for way back anyways.
Drawn digitally with Wacom and in Clip Studio Paint 2 - didn't trace over anything though it has some incredible anime booby women - and I do have a 3D figure that is essentially Grilmac I could load I think. Good for rapid mass drawing IF I start my comic again.
Again, some subjects - Omega Crusade, Omnans, Aternox, Relical Engines are copyright Maxx Feral and my own drawings done with 100% permission to use.
It's a neat concept, the things he might do with it, but visit his page for more: MaxxFeral User Profile | DeviantArt
AI permission inclusion tag enabled as we are pro AiArt, even if this wasn't created with it.
