A butterfly.. certainly an interesting animal to work with, since we usually have the wings in mind... seriously, the face of a butterfly is usually not important, so adding a humanoid is actually not quite a bad idea to make it an anthro... it also has some fairy-like touches to it.
Of course badgers are cute... why else would I have one as avatar? Well, perhaps since they are associated with magic by some older Irish sources and because despite their cute looks... they can shrugg of a lot of physical damage and deal out even more... even if they look harmless, they would be perfect choices for Battle Mages, if you had a race based on them.
Where there is smoke, there is fire.... or a puffing wolf, because huffing and puffing is probably something wolves do... nowadays TNT can thankfully take care of problems with block buildings, so they can save some breath.
Feora... such a sly face... she has some plans... one glomping people to death! To death, I say.... or at least it is hard to breath.
Yellow flames sound like a lot of magic or certain chemicals. A skull mask is certainly pretty cool... even if it's actually part of the head and so a skinless skull. Still cool, anyway you put it.
