design notes:
*Body is not as bulky as a normal Tyrantrum's. His body is more ideal for navigating through trees quickly. His footfalls are still very loud. Dark coloration helps with stealth. which compensates for how frikkin huge he is
*Longer, whiplike tail; useful for balance and effective as a weapon. Six eyes sets, adapted for infared/heat sensing among other things.
*Bioluminescent glow on horn/spine base, gums, under protective plating,claws and in random patches on his skin . Tounge seems to glow slightly when hungry or with an elevated pulse, such as anger or fear. Has a drooling problem.
*Spines have become soft, almost squishy tentacles which move thanks to nerve impulses and can be controlled through focus. Capable ove movement and grasping they can help in transport or threat/mating displays. Similar tentacles are on his chin and assist in feeding.
*Claws ideal for gripping, teeth built for tearing (smallish but sharp). Extremely powerful jaw.

BIOLUMINSECENE PURPOSE:
-means of attracting/dazzling prey
-useful for threat displays
-useful in determining mood

Since evolving, Locke has become a force to be reckoned with. Luckily his edges have smoothed out a little and he's a much calmer. He no longer tantrums, even occasionally, and is not quick to judge. Many of the ranch residents trust and respect him for his strength and concern for their safety. He is also respectful of Keane, if for no other reason than for the shelter and food he provides,on occasion Locke will give Keane and smaller pokemon rides on his back as he patrols. Mischief certainly has declined over the past few months! Locke doesn't seem to care much if unfamiliar pokemon cross into the land but he will not hesitate to force them out should problems arise.

Not all is well though. There is one pokemon Locke keeps from crossing the border. The Erlking has become a near obsession of his and he flies into a fury anytime he sees him. His instinct is to take him out, and it seems that recently Erlking has got the message…. now Locke just has his offspring to worry about who generally give him space with the exception of General Winter… who may grow to be another thorn in his side.

Another interesting development is his recent attachment to a young Vulpix/Murkrow who has wandered harmlessly past the border from a nearby ranch. Cecil seems to mean alot to him.
