Story:
War Buddies:
Ever since he was a little boy, It has always been Charles Xavier’s dream to have humans and mutants live together in harmony. But he wanted this dream to put into work when found another mutant named Erik.They met during the war in Vietnam and became very close war buddies. Erik was a holocaust survivor and was hellbent on getting his revenge. But then Charles came along and seemed to ease the rage in Erik’s heart. As their friendship grew closer so did Erik’s and Charles’s idea of mutants began to clash between each other. Erik believes in the same dream that Charles believes in but Erik wanted to be more aggressive about it. After the war was over they decided to settle down in social life and was invited to a assembly for the Veterans. But bombs were placed in the building and went off, causing many explosions. Erik and Charles used their powers to stop the most the bombs but it was too much. They were caught in some debris. Erik was fine but Charles’s legs was crushed by pillar. And since there was photographers there, the whole world saw mutants for the first time. Ever since then, Erik felt responsible for what had happened and decided to go rogue. But Charles’s had immediate surgery for his legs. He can walk again but with another serious injury, he would be left crippled again.
The Team:
Though Charles wasn't afraid to show off his powers though now since the world know what mutants are. He decided to build a school for those who had mutant abilities and trained them for the better. His favorite student was Scott Summers. He saved Scott at a carnival where he was about to be lynched for being a mutant. Charles saw so much potential in Scott that he wanted to train him with a few other students. Jean grey who was the strongest telepathic student at the school. Hank McCoy, The School’s Scientist/Engineer who helped Charles with his disability. Warren Worthington III was Son of Warren Worthington Sr who helped fund Xavier’s school for the gifted. Even though Warren hated mutants, his son needed to go to a school for his powers. And lastly a boy named Bobby Drake. Bobby was kicked out of his last school when found his ice powers. He accidentally froze his best friend during a fight. Charles decided to train these 5 kids to help protect the school and other dangers around the world. The more they trained, the more their powers started to develop. They started to make a name for themselves on a worldwide level. They called themselves “The X-Men”. With all the attention coming towards this team is caught the attention of Erik. Since Erik saw that mutants were more dormant than humans, He also decided to make up his own team as well. He called it “The Brotherhood” and gave himself the name of “Magneto.” They started to make their presence to be know by attacking Task Industries. That's when the X-men came to rescue. The Brotherhood and The X-men had a huge fight at the building. The fight escalated when Jean Grey use some of her Phoenix Force powers. But The Phoenix was too strong for Jean. She wasn't able to take control of her own body again. Xavier was able to bring Jean back but with the cost of him unable to use his legs again. After all was done, Magneto gave a speech to all the Mutants out in the world to pick a side. Ever since, Mutants from all around the world made their decisions. Some went to Xavier’s School to help protect the world and control their powers. While some other joined Magneto’s Brotherhood.
In other news, A giant green monster is on the loose….
