Description This is a disturbing one, so be careful. The six scenes are all from the end of part one, depicting individual crises during the two-week period of military imprisonment. The words are meant to embody what they felt over that time, the last few only coming near the end.

The military ignore their human rights, saying that as part of the Project they don't have any. They are locked up in an underground cell in a base in the middle of nowhere (the Andirondacks!!). The dark yellow jumpsuits they're forced to wear are merely the only thing the military care to spare them - not even underwear, and the stripes on them are velcro strips for access - and yes there is one on the crotch. The collars round their necks are neural inbibitors, blocking their powers completely. They also have to wear handcuffs, especially when it gets to the fifth (Tiamat's) one; they hook a running chain on to them so the soldiers can lead them. Their escape from this dire situation is nothing short of miraculous.

The words: I use them here and also in the finale of the story. My friend Emma says they should be used in the trailer if Hero ever becomes a movie. *KK buries face in T-shirt* (You read top row, left-right, bottom row, left-right.)

Lorikeet - Wow!! For the first time we see Lori not floating...god she looks ill. I like how I drew her hair falling over the bench.
Avani - those huge cuffs are the ones that do irreparable damage to them...ooh, I think I'm doing well on the sleeves. Couldn't be arsed to draw anything below her calves.
Fintan - owwiiee...is all I can say. The military don't even give them blankets or pillows, just the old mattresses. I'm really evil!!
Hodei - slams against the bars as soon as Tiamat gets taken away. He has no idea if he'll see her again. I think I should've drawn the bar he's not clutching a little more to the left...
Tiamat - in the laboratory. It's not much initially, just a few samples taken. Being inhibited she is dehydrating very fast, so she looks ill too. I think I got the angles of the chair right...
Rangi - is the door open or am I seeing things? He got beaten up when it was his turn in the lab, hence the blood spots on his jumpsuit. Took me a while to get his pose right, hence why the background might seem a little grey there.

I love this pic. You've got the emotions right. I especially like Hodei, because he really looks miserable. The only little thing, I don't think Lori looks like she's floating... I know it's difficult getting that feeling of weightlessness tho. Keep working on it.

Lorikeet *ISN'T* floating here!! Don't forget that collar round her neck - it's dampening her power. Having to lie on the banch tangibly is giving her ground-sickness.

Oh they will get out.
And they will PAY!
Lori mind-fucks the hells out of them and makes night-terrors look like pritty little bunnies covered in marshmallows with gumdrop spinkles...
